Scraping the bottom of the barrel to sell tickets now.

Should have gone with Q&A with Ollie Wines.

What trick was he doing?
Why did he think it was a good idea?
Does he think he still deserves the captaincy?

What even is that question lol. I couldn't give the faintest shit who at the club spoke to Burton first, nor what they said.

“Ryan speaking”

- “Ryan, it’s Ken”

“...”

- “... Hinkley”

“...”

This is the type of hard hitting question I am going to the members' convention to hear the answers to. o_O

It would be funny if one or maybe half a dozen fans rocked up looking like Baghdad Bob
Do you know where I can get hold of a Baghdad Bob costume?

I didn't go last year and have no attention of attending this year, but I agree with Portwon in his suggestion, and hope that there is a vibe of restlessness and unhappiness ( abuse aside of course ) in the room, and further to that I believe that vibe needs to be picked up and acknowledged by the powers that be.

The last thing disgruntled supporters need ( and if this site is anything to go by there are a lot of us ) is another pussy kissing PR exercise that results in SFA action.

Having spoken with a staff member over the past couple days, i can confirm that the unease across the membership has been well noted by everyone at the club. They also said that this event will be far from a soft PR exercise

I'd so much like to believe that they're listening to our unease and that it's going to lead somewhere. But this club is all talk.

Fool me once, Port Adelaide..

Talk is essential cheap on a cost effective basis. Its all part of rhetoric lead recovery.

I'm still chuckling at this two days later.

I'd prefer to know what he told Clarkson after Clarko told him we are trading you for Wingard.

Unfortunately Macca, its all lip service at the moment and has been for a while now! Actions speak louder than empty promises!

I understand the club wants to expand the event. However, given the general disconnect with a decent (?) proportion of supporters, the fact it is the second event (less novelty) and most importantly the fact we didnt deliver last year - why would the club expect a much bigger turnout.

Because the venue was booked in June. We were 1 game off top and up and about.

End of the day whether people are pissed or not, they are trying to use initiative with its fan base. Provide something that isn’t donenin the AFL.

We can punish the club for o field result and potentially deprive ourselves of these innovative events going forward OR we support the club.

Who knows, it could be different. I’m away interstate but I must admit Schofield intrigues me, I’m in the bromance squad that he could be our next senior coach. Something about his style and what he’s done.

I’d love to hear what he has to say.

I do a lot of learning events around the globe and I must admit I’ve paid some big dollars to go, I rationalise it like this, if I learn one new thing I didn’t know before well spending X was worth it.

It’s a new season, new coaches some exciting young talent let’s support the club. I’m inspired regardless of previous form and recent events.

Lol talk about timing. Now that you've got one sewn up. No way they put this up until a deal was signed with Liberty.
