Leave those place for those that can't afford to go to own dentist. No point in clogging up the system when one can still afford to pay.

I was just surprised as haven't had a tooth removed for years.
Health insurance and dental is the big disconnect.
But if they paid the bulk of the dental bill, then premiums would be even higher for private health insurance.

Anyone with children that haven't decided what career path to pursue, I recommend Dentistry (automation unlikely to replace).

Just came back from having a tooth removed - Exam - $44, X-ray - $28, Removal - $145. Total $217.
Medibank refund - $56.00, Me - $161.00

Private health insurance is a rip off but a necessary evil.

How do families cope?
Dentists are not the issue - it's the Orthodontists that really rake it in

Yep. A friend has lost her front tooth and is getting a screw in going to cost her $1800 out of pocket and Bupa is paying $2000 which isn't too bad.
However $4000 for one tooth... Price of vanity I guess.

It isn't just dental, they have adjustment the type of ops you can claim for. For example if I delete pregnancy, I can't claim knee or hip replacements so you are paying for things you don't need.
Really need to read the fine print in everything now.

Organize an overseas trip for 6 gorillas.. get 6 gorillas worth of dental work done for half of a gorilla.

All expenses paid trip to an exotic location and dental work.. or get in a dental chair and buy milk and bread on your way home.

I had all my front teeth capped for bugger all overseas.

My bunny died today.

Very sad.

Sorry to hear mate.

Pets are family members, and it's always terrible when they leave us. Remember how they made you smile and they will always be there.

Tipping he/she had a great life with you!

Thanks for that. Every now and then you get a pet with a special personality. It’s hard to lose them.

Sorry to intrude.
Port Power supporters are keen on wearing the black and white Port Magpies bars in the AFL. They've started a petition and created #BringBackTheBars. They are pushing to bring it back for their 150 year celebration, Powers didn't form until 1997.
I'd like to hear Eddies view on Port wearing your strip.

I wonder why you guys don’t have your AFL jumper with the classic prison bars black with white bars and teal bars, in other words the bars are half White half teal - would look great I reckon

Hopefully Eddie's view is to tell them to **** off. If they want to celebrate 150 years how about their inaugural jumper of blue/white hoops or the pink that followed for the next 20+ years?

I think you already know what Eddies position will be, same as it was in other times they have tried

If it’s a one off game against Adelaide, who cares?

Port Powers want to wear the Magpies guernsey in every game from 2020.

In a national competition, we believe every club deserves the right to appropriately honour its heritage and history - and the Prison Bars are synonymous with so much of ours.
Season 2020 will mark the Port Adelaide Football Club's 150th anniversary, so there is no better time to restore our right to wear our guernsey at the top flight of football. With your support, we can #BringBackTheBars from 2020.

That’s fine as long as they only play in the SANFL.

They gave up the right to wear the prison bars for their senior team when they elected to enter a different competition, a competition where another club already had rights to black and white stripes and they didn't. It wouldn't surprise me if there's a contract to that effect.

Similarly when Collingwood entered the VFA from the remnants of Britannia we couldn't enter with their colours of red, blue and white as they were too similar to existing VFA club Footscray.

If Port are so keen for their senior team to wear black and white maybe they should be relegated back to the SANFL.

Will not happen, they enter our comp, not the other way around

So this isn’t a club backed campaign?
And been going for months and hasn’t cracked 7k?
Doubt if it has any chance of success without club backing.
But it’s the AFL so anything’s possible.

Isn't there an agreement in place that goes back to Port's entry in the AFL?
They don't get to wear Black and White only Collingwood
