I didn’t say cut the dole for three years. I gave it as an example of how bad our debt situation is and the enormity of the task ahead to pay it off.

Their record of privatization failures, deregulation failures, failure to act on climate change, poisoning the discourse with refugee dogwhistles, entering illegal wars, trashing our IR framework, creating structural deficit and the impact of undercutting the safety net to feather the nests of the wealthy, is one so awesomely catastrophic, it will haunt the country for a generation.

They flogged every single thing they could that was not tied down to pump money into the hands of the wealthy with the only result being an over-inflated housing market.
