The current government is still in charge of border security. Any boat arrivals between now and their election is on them.

I can't make it any clearer, even for you.
49 - 51 the alp voters in redneck wonderland don't agree with you

One poll and it still has the Liberal Party still losing the election. Morrison will be on his knees praying for deaths at sea.
It illustrates the issues Billy has with latte sippers one inside and the ordinary Labor voters on the other who voted against marriage equality and don't like economic refugees. From where the libs were they would take 49-51 every day of the week.

Just highlights sharing what a terrible choice of leader bill was.

Libs up in the Polls..

How many elections does Labor need to lose on the issue of Refugees/boat people before they stop flaming the fires pre election?

That doesn't mean they are right though.

The sitting government is in control of the borders until the next election, not the opposition.

That people think the borders have been weakened by this vote shows how stupid the public can be.

That's what I find most hideous about conservatives. They're always praying for disasters so that they can tell us all how afraid everyone has to be.
They're quite keen on a recession too. We've moved into the period of disaster capitalism. No longer do the neoliberals present a compelling case for re-election on policy, it's failings are becoming plain for all to see, instead they're forced to try to contrive something along the lines of a nation emergency which they then claim only they can save us from.

Sounds like the church

Did you notice that Labor and the radical left couldn't wait three months until after election before weakening our borders? As soon as they had the numbers they charged through the door and that tells you all you need to know about how they will act in govt. A free for all.

They fought tooth and nail against the Rudd stimulus package, which almost everyone agrees mitigated much of the horrors of the GFC.

I wonder how they would spin austerity as another good thing they do for the little people?

We should open our borders to all comers. It would make us rich beyond our dreams.

Worked for Howard - he removed Visa processing in Indonesia which kick-started the last stage boat journeys again, then screamed about the spectre of brown people on boats.

Like don don with the wall

They've sunk so far that at 49-51 an election loss is now a win. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
The scary thing for Labor is that finally there is scrutiny on their own preparedness to govern. This is the last thing they need and if it continues things could get very ugly for them. Their policies stink.
