We’re going to have to brace ourselves on a Madrid approach for Poch in the summer. To be honest you’d have to be a bit of a mug to go there, for all their success it’s a bit of a basket case
Yeah, they have certainly become a basket case. The run in the CL the last few years is impossible to replicate and the league with Barcelona still around isn’t easy. And you know what, I love it. There is no worse club than Real Madrid.
I used to prefer Madrid to Barca, but not anymore. Can no longer get behind a club that sacks every manager if they don’t win the league or CL. Plus their fans can never be satisfied. I hear they even have it in for Bale now. Unbelievably shit club
“No amount of charity giving or the deployment of slick PR can make up for the reputation we have garnered, fairly or unfairly, in the court of public opinion, of being greedy b******* and not giving two hoots for the fans,” the Premier League’s former chief executive Richard Scudamore said.
That earned a short response from Levy, who replied: “Happy to do a call with us top six… I personally hate the idea.”

Lol good point see edited post
i suspect the top 6 was against it. the greed is out of control.Wtf, how could anyone hate the idea of making the sport more accessible to the fans.
The amount of money made from increasing tickets from 30 to, say, 50 quid is incomparable to the TV money, sponsorship, etc. pocketed.
Baffles me. Especially if it's a blanket rule and not like our fans are getting charged more elsewhere and we are giving that clubs fans a cheaper ticketWtf, how could anyone hate the idea of making the sport more accessible to the fans.

Haha tbh I've always wondered if this has been tried at any level in Aussie rules. Just have one guy with the footy surrounded tightly by the other 17, who escort him to the goals. It would be pretty hard for the opposition to get to the guy with the ball with that many players around him without giving away a free kick.
Our match day income has gone up around £35m a year since FFP came in.They'd be pretty immaterial to FFP overs/unders
Max discount a club would ever agree to would be under 5mOur match day income has gone up around £35m a year since FFP came in.
