Personally I'll be glad if we scrape into the top 4. Lynch will need a while to get his body ready and longer to gel with the team, can't expect too much from him this year. Someone has to win it this year and I am expecting it to be us, especially if we finish top 2. Weagles will be good especially at home, I don't think Collingwood will be as good as last year with a tough draw. Melbourne will probably do good. I don't think anyone else is up to it. Maybe Adelaide, but it remains to be seen. Geelong blew it with top up recruiting and will slide. If any other club wins it, it will be an upset.

Playing Caddy, Higgins, Rioli more in the middle and Balta as second ruck will help us compete better when our best midfielders are resting. As well as bringing in Kingsley and Weller and moving Townsend into the middle to strengthen our clearances. We’ll be fine

Caddy has never player particularly well as a full time mid, rioli never has played as a mid and Higgins and balta are second year players, one who hasn't even debuted yet who is expected to improve our midfield playing as a ruckman. If even half of that works we have won the lottery.

Weller is capable of doing a Grigg/Ellis/Mcintosh type job on a wing. He isnt Gaff but isnt a massive downgrade on say Conca.

Townsend i reckon would do very well as a tagger or/and small ruckman if they want to continue the midget ruck tactics.

The Richmond midfield stats were very good when Higgins was in the middle last season in his debut year.

Balta, at worse is a big body who is not soft and thats an upgrade.

It wouldn't be surprising if Rioli plays more hff / wing

Caddy is going to have to play more in the middle,
