A backline that has Mirra, Brand and O’Brien? It’s a horror show.
What was wrong with Brand's effort?

How did Scrimshaw, Worpel, Moore and Lewis go tonight?
And fair enough. They toyed with us ffs! 40 points down isn’t anything to scoff at.Derwayne getting excited and sloshing mayo on the tigers

Scrimshaw - excellent early, encouraging otherwise
Wordplay - great
Moore - imho, just ok.
Lewis - great early, but out of his depth later. Looks good long term.
Game changed with mirra and tob on the field. Not up to standard and will not be round one.
CheersThanks mate, I'm hanging to watch the replay when it's available.
Richmond flogs in the crowd acting like they won the flag.
Yeah, great first half. Hawks played best team and killed it.
Second half the Hawks put in the seconds and changed up positions. Richmond kept the big guns going. The third was disappointing but I'm not unhappy. A great indication of what the Hawks can do. Strong, structured defense and fluid offense. A midfield that will season and improve. We've got a chance to turn this season into a good year.
Omeara was certainly off the whole of the 3rd.Errr, sorry to burst some bubbles but there was hardly any change other than brand replaced by Timid in the third! All our senior mids were there. Burgoyne, O’Meara, Shiels, Big Boy, Smith and Worpel were the ones that got their arses handed to them.
And wingard.Weighty saying the round 1 22 will come from this 26 gives me an uneasy feeling about Gunners.
But gunners himself said he has to prove his fitness in next weeks intra club

It is though, one team played to win one team played to teach. And fair enough. They toyed with us ffs! 40 points down isn’t anything to scoff at.
So you don't even understand why your comments were sexist? If that was a male umpire, I have no doubt you would have said something along the lines of being demoted to the VFL, but because it was a female, the first card you use is the AFLW.Someone’s sensitive....think you’re reading too much into it ....unless you’re looking for something to cry about
Scrimshaw looked elite in the first quarter (body on line, marking, great kicking). Think he was given slightly more midfield time in the first, or high halfback. Was quiet after that (moved to deep halfback) and I think he ran out of gas from the third onwards.
Lewis was great structurally. Took 4 marks early and gave Roughead a lot of freedom. Got his hands to a lot of contests and I felt as though our structures suffered when he went off. Didn't kick any goals though which he needs to work on. Plays like Shoey.
Moore quiet. Struggled to get into the game, and didn't do much apart from one good mark. Hanrahan more impressive.
Worpel was immense in the first two quarters, providing great support to Jags/Cuz/Sheils. Had something like 17 disposals (13 contested) to halftime with a handful of tackles. Did tend to hack it forward though. Moved forward in the third (where the ball rarely was) and did take a great 1 on 1 mark and kick a goal, but otherwise quiet. Put on ice during the fourth.
Today a backline in the second half that had Mirra, O'Brien. Frawley and Stratton probably add in Hardwick was a horror show... the one that had Brand in the first half was not a horror show... even though some of those above were in the first half.A backline that has Mirra, Brand and O’Brien? So it was more a case of us tinkering around and experimenting, than being outmatched or outplayed.
Cheers
Stupid ipad autocorrect doesn’t know who James Worpel is !

Not much at all. Until Jack decided Kung fu was acceptable in AFL and kicked him in mid airWhat was wrong with Brand's effort?
