It's hard to know what to expect in round 1 but the team named has given me confidence we can get the job done. The passengers are either injured or playing VFL and our forward line will surprise a few teams this year with Ablett, Hawkins, Rohan, Dahlhaus and Atkins. There's some real class there and the last 3 play with intent which is what we've really lacked in previous years.

Rohan was sensational so far, loved his JLT game against Bombers + four goals was exactly what our Forward line needs. Except IIRC, Rohan doesn't tackle + Ablett doesn't Mark

Thought Dahlhaus looked a bit rusty in the first JLT, played well against Bombers, but played really well against Bombers.

Atkins is such a breath of fresh air + love his game, he's like a dog with a bone, just never gives up + his tackling was terrific.

I'm excited about our new look Forward line, something we've all been desperate so see improve.

Will be interested to see how the Forwards help Tomahawk from being scragged by eleventy seven Defenders.

It begins now though the pre-season means zero. They need to do it on the big stage. Would be so exciting to debut in front of that many people honestly on the G vs Collingwood round 1.
