Good to hear, first year back playing fantasy properly for a while so a bit out of touch with round 1 scores.

Grundy going to fall right back into the pack this year, not going to be clear no1 anymore. Not getting any link up marks at all and just basically a tap ruckman. I already dealth with this last year with Sauce FFS!!! Already regret not going for a cheap R2, or even going a bit cheaper to Goldy/Witts.

Grundy will score less than Andrew Phillips. Truly laughable stuff. Anyone who didn't start Grundy has a huge leg up now. Anyone with Grundy just has to trade him next week.

Why? Not a great game obviously and he'll lose a bit of cash but the guy will average 120 for the season almost guaranteed.

Don't worry Rion , TheRednWhite is vying for the title of the most reactionary poster on this board! Seriously mate, just take a chill pill. It's Round 1, Grundy had a limited preseason, but he'll not only come good, he'll dominate the other fantasy rucks.

Crisp 'll be fine I reckon. Racked up plenty of ball tonight, just couldn't get the space to get the +6's he needs. I'm actually fine with a 78 given how brutal a game it was. What a f*cking incredible game btw. By the end, I'd actually made peace with it being a draw, but I'll take the win!!! Amazing all round!

677/7, solid start. Have been so lucky with Rookies so far, only have Duursma and Drew to play as rookies now and I was confident with them two scoring 60 going into this round.

Nah don't. All the scores tonight are massively unders, as it was just such a brutal game. This was finals atmosphere with desperate acts everywhere. No space for anyone and anyone who did score a ton, will score ridiculously well this year. Stanley was actually really good at mitigating the space Grundy had, which took away a lot of his possessions. Grundy covered the ground really well, but just like everyone else, did not have the space.

Tonight was finals atmosphere embodied and I have not enjoyed a game this much in so long. Both teams threw themselves at everything. Wonderful

I'm gonna sleep on my thoughts regarding Grundy. Didn't like the look of him at all but could be over-reacting. It's been a hectic couple of days so need to relax a bit haha. But tell you what I will absolutely lose it if Speakano outscores Grundy. I actually did Grundy to English 3 minutes before lockout and then reversed it. Sums up my whole preseason, hopefully that doesn't sum up my year as well

Grundy did look ordinary I will agree with you all there, still he gave away 5 free kicks and had 2 tackles and got 84, just have to accept he had an ordinary one and hope he bounces back next week (with the loophole on him). Had 2 tackles or less in only 3 games last year.

And 0 goals 2 doesn't help either. One goal and less frees and he shoots up to >90, without being very good at all.

3 of those scores are rookies and only have 3 left to play.
Hoping to just break the 2000, but really need my premos to step up (also cogs C rack up 150 tomorrow!)

Poor game by grundy but you don’t trade out premos after 1 bad game. That never ends well when they start hitting form for a month and it’s too hard to get them back in after the inevitable injuries and other issues with other players your sorting out

Think everyone’s just frustrated because we all kinda saw this coming in a way but chose to ignore it. Any other player with preseason issues and he’s not considered for a starting side. Also the fact he needs to go all guns blazing from the start is tough. Same reason I didn’t go Macrae or Laird.. one “normal” game and you were better off starting somewhere else and upgrading elsewhere.

is there a tool or resource to predict players price rises or drops before lockout is over? I remember fanfooty used to have this feature once but doesnt like it anymore. And way back when a poster on here use to have a resource called ffgenie but i think thats no longer working.

Lmao, not gonna lie, it's a pretty good feeling haha. If Crisp had of scored a ton, I probably would have been bouncing off the walls. Bringing in Constable with a few hours to spare for Cousins on the bench, and then bringing in McCarthy up forward while shifting Drew to the bench and having 90K spare, that's what I'm really happy about. As long as I score over 2000 with the team I have, I'm gonna be happy
