Not carried away. Didn't think they could play finals and still don't. Yes round 1, but ive never believed their 2018 disastrous season was only due to an interesting off season camp.

Always thought their better players are just accumulators but not match winners. Sloane & M.Crouch can get it but don't hurt. Gibbs Walker Jacobs Betts Douglas all well past their best. Laird is a gun. Smith coming back from a knee. Doedee is now a big loss. Their forward is ridiculously overrated by many. Predictable and slow. Milera has talent but yet to step up. Is there much else yet? I see a group of handy footballers but not a finals side. I said they wouldn't make the finals and I'm still convinced they won't

PS I also believe what happened last pre season damaged the relationship with the Coach and a number of players and it will never be fully repaired.

Like I indicated in the pre-season, geriatric list combined with unrest among senior players with regards to coaching staff and high performance management.

I hope you're right and they don't make the finals.

If we get a top 10 pick, it gives us options.

We can either split it into two picks in the late teens and pick up two decent players or trade the one pick for a star.

If we end up with a pick in the late teens, it really limits us from a trade perspective unless we bring our future first into play.
