Ugly: Mackay, Atkins, Douglas, Walker....Well most of the team.
Positive: Play the youth. Better late than never. Clean out of the organisation including players and coaching panel end of the year.

Our entire forward line refuses to do anything. They just want to have it bombed in and hope for the best. How many times does a player look for a target and every single forward just stand still? Lazy football.

So many times they refused to play in front of their opponents hoping they'd get an easy one over the back.

Combined with our players kicking it to Hawthorn players, it was a terrible day for our forwards.. yet what did we change up?

I wanted Walker to drag Sicily back to the goal square where he is less comfortable... but we didn't do anything significant to change things up. They won't drop Tex after 1 game, but we need to look at using him differently if it's not working

Gooch for Murphy is a good start.

I reckon Stengle will come in for Murphy, if they pull the trigger.

CEY for douglas on JLT games, only because Hugh is underdone.

I'd love to know what Walkers instructions are though, he doesn't do much else than clog the f50.

Keath was weak, all day, ineffective. I'm tempted to add "If you don't think so go watch another code, you know nothing about this one.", but we can agree to disagree.
Keath is a slow decision-maker, often out-positioned, gives opposition too much time to set up/reset.

TURNOVERS were woeful, very costly.

Dude I thought Keath was one of, if not your best. Very very solid. It could have been a whole lot worst if it wasn't for him.

After games like this it is hard because so many of the side failed to even win a contest. Basically there was no team effort. 3-5 individuals had a crack and 3 of them were great, but over all the whole system and structure, everything, was white hot shit.

He is a poor defensive coach, so why would we think he would be good with the forwards?

Collingwood got worlds better defensively when they employed Longmiur, who Pyke wanted, after letting Hart go and we still grabbed him.

Same way how we didn't get Sumich because thatd cost Campo a job.

Let's be realistic and not hold up false hope. He's Done his ACL. We can adjust there.

We need to get Thor and Seedsman back asap. We need drive. With our numbers, we should have been closer. It points to a number of cracks.


On the plus side EVERY team has shir games. This was a shit game. Pity is was round 1.

Hope Pyke has learned a lesson about 6,6,6 not being our advantage.
