This depends where they are at as a team. Could it be that the age demographic of many of their better players sees them on a further downward slide? Are there still underlying issues at the club as a result of the Collective Minds debacle? Things can go pear-shaped very quickly if all is not right at a club.

The funny part of including our second pick is the players it’s thrown off on its way to Adelaide. For Carlton it’s Setterfield, who looks a million bucks. For GWS it’s Ian Hill, who is one highly talented kid. For the Crows, it’s likely gonna end up a pick in the late-20’s after bids, in not so strong draft.

I never understood why people were jumping on the Crow train again. They made it too the top on the back of a truly great forwardline.

But thats gone now. Theyve completely lost all defensive pressure.

Charlie Cameron is gone.
Mitch McGovern is gone.
Darcy Fogarty is three legged mule slow and wont solve this problem.
McAdam just got injured.

Their impressive tall forwards arent what they used to be either.

Taylor Walker is cooked and was mediocre when he was at his best.
Jenkins is a front runner. He is 30 and cooked.
Lynch is still a good player.
McGovern is gone.
Fogarty cant play with the others because he's as slow as the mind of an AFLW troll.

So we moved up a spot in draft order at present.
Looks like Clarkson mind games before the day worked.
The Crows got some mental fragility about them. Ever since the wanky power rangers stance and pre-season cult camp they are a mental mess if get into their heads. I still think they should finish about 8th to 10th and us 12 or 13th. I really do not see the pick swap being that important in the end. Not for us at least as we already got what we wanted form doing it in first place. But when you are the club trading away access to a player in the draft for pick swaps a year later, the downside might be hard to stomach. Hard to recall what it cost them in a player. Dons lost at least Caldwell by getting Shiel. Crows have probably lost Collier-Dawkins or Stocker and we will have to wait to see them both a little later in season. Giving away a pick from super draft when you got a list on older side was a weird choice in my opinion back at time. Remember leading into draft expecting Crows to do everything they could to try to move up draft order to possibly get at least one of Rankine or Lukosias. Once they failed to do that it is almost like they mentally checked out of the draft after their first couple of picks. I would have taken Jordan Clark ahead of Chayce Jones too.

Just had a look at their first seven weeks and they have an easy run, so we may have to get ready to eat some humble pie for a few weeks. In saying that, if they stumble in a few games, then our trade will certainly look a lot better.

I'm 2/6 in the tipping so far. Who knows what an easy run is?

I just don’t get it ! When Rance was taken off on Thursday I stood and applauded and I felt so bad for him and all the Richmond supporters. How can you wish harm on another human and then celebrate when it happens?

Stocker wouldn’t have helped the Crows today, they wouldn’t have picked him anyway. Kid is going to be a beauty and wasn’t even on their radar.

The problems run deep at the Crows, might be the first club to sack their coach this season. Need to seriously look into their recruiting department first, although it has been a pleasure dealing with them in recent years.
