Well I'm not so sure about that. This whole business of an overseas state owned news outlet. Hired actors. Meetings set up by the paid actor. Covert camera's which may or may not be legal in Australia. 4 year duration. The ABC. Now claims of heavy editing.
Ashby and Dickson were crisis actors. The actors who played the parts of James Ashby and Steve Dickson were brilliant. They fooled me as I thought it was them.
Did you actually watch the doco and how stupid is Gun Nation being sucked in by a non existent Australian gun lobby?
Could it be three fold:yet theres isnt much high immigration in the rural areas where she gets the votes and the major immigration into Qld is Kiwis
I just googled all this for shits and giggles.
Muslims make up 604,200 of Australia’s population. 2016 census.
50% of those are non practising.
5% of them live in Queensland.
So the number of Muslims living in Queensland is approximately 30,210.
The population of Queensland is circa 5m.
So Muslims make up 0.6% of Queensland’s population.
Why they so mad?

She really is pathetic. There is no other word for her. Pathetic.
One day, a really articulate, charismatic, truly evil Australian right winger will come along who will represent a real threat to our peace and social fabric.
But in the meantime, I will go to my grave wondering how Pauline Hanson even came remotely close to being that person.
What the f*** did anyone see in her?
Is Australia really that full of pathetic, inarticulate sad sacks who instantly perceived the true patheticalness and inarticulateness in her, and said "F*** yeah! Finally! Someone pathetic and inarticulate to represent the silent majority - all us pathetic, inarticulate Australians!"?
My favourite all time film, I saw it half a dozen times at the at the cinema when it was released and bored the arse off anyone who asked me about it. Tim Robbins was about twenty five years too early though.I watched Bob Roberts recently and two things struck me
First, how much of the environment there, particularly his messaging and the influence of media organisations and right wing financiers masquerading as disinterested players in amplifying it resonates with what we see now.
Second, how much they overplayed the sophistication required to pull it off. We dont need an evil genius, or a sophisticated right wing black ops plot. Its all dumb, its all out in the open, and people are still voting for it.
Don’t know much about Hanson-Young but she at least appears to be able to navigate through from the start of a sentence to the end of it without coming to grief embarrassingly. Is she related to to Sarah Hanson-Young? They are about as thick as each other.
One Nation picks up votes because the mainstream parties don't address widespread concerns, in particular, high immigration.
But the Nats & the QLD LNP aren't included in Bozo's decision to put One Neuron last. Bozo's announcement only affects Liberal preferences, and only in the states & territories where the Libs exist as a standalone party. There will be with the Nat's held seats though.
I pulled into a take away shop in Childers run by Pauline's friend of 20 years and she was running until she got the bill from Ashby for the core flute advertising.Could it be three fold:
1) A reflection of the growing and well deserved mistrust of the major parties and the wasteful out of touch cesspool known as Canberra.
2) The rising unemployment and lack of infrastructure in regional areas while we spend money on foreign aid and alleged refugees.
3) They see the damage that reckless (excessive qty not racial makeup) immigration has done to our major cities and don't want it to happen to them.
Ashby and Dickson were crisis actors.
Hanson-Young is a poor speaker but she does know her subject area.Don’t know much about Hanson-Young but she at least appears to be able to navigate through from the start of a sentence to the end of it without coming to grief embarrassingly.
Interesting that you mention the Greens, which you could describe as the other significant non-major party. They’re having their internal spats right now and the hierarchy of power nationally still needs to be worked through and a structure arrived at, but they still seem to have a fundamental competence as individual politicians and as a party.
On the other hand, Hanson forever seems to be chewing through staff and colleagues, at a quite astonishing rate. No-one lasts very long with her, do they? She must be a real handful to try to work with.
Agreed, though I dispute that Morrison is remotely charismatic, except to the degree that his Plenty Costalots overlap with the Christian mob of that name. That devil is here and his name is SCOTT MORRISON! Do not for one moment underestimate what this demon is capable of brother. He exploits everything and lies about anything and everything - he is evil and he is the Prime Minister of Australia.
Hanson is a product of the Liberal/National Party and the yokel that the Murdoch Press and gutless LNP mongrels send to the front line to spew filth and protect her when it suits, have a go when it suits but always, always, keep her in the spotlight 'cause it's good for business, it's good for racism and bigotry, it's good for politics.
I pulled into a take away shop in Childers run by Pauline's friend of 20 years and she was running until she got the bill from Ashby for the core flute advertising.
She saw me as a potential local and a potential voter ,gave me a free coffee and her political manifesto.
I strung her along, hoping it was going to get somewhere.....it didnt.
Just a longing for White Australia of the 50s
When I talked trickle down economics and egalitarianism and nationalised industry and related it back to the 50s in simplified terms so she could understand......still nothing.
All I got in return is lots of Pauline is good, she is a really nice person, she is not a racist, Ive known her for 20 years.
Summation: not very bright,no idea,no plan, just blind faith in Pauline
,,,, a few months later she left because she could get her core flute for half the price locally and wasnt allowed to.

What pray tell is core flute ?
All this from a take away, what you'll do for a free coffee, then criticise a couple of dicks salivating over $millions, the mind fairly boggles.![]()
Corflute. What pray tell is core flute ?
Second that great filmMy favourite all time film, I saw it half a dozen times at the at the cinema when it was released and bored the arse off anyone who asked me about it. Tim Robbins was about twenty five years too early though.
I entertained the mind of a national party powerbroker in sa, who questioned the port Arthur massacre. Evidently a very senior victorian cop was adamant Bryant didn't do it. Both believed the 911 story but. Both believed the Australian version of invasion in 1788.
They did speak of facts the media won't go near. There was also a video leaked by cops of one crime scene that Google has since banned.
Suicide and Murder rates never changed after the gun ban. The pm at the time now protects pedophiles. Claims the gun laws were his biggest achievement, but hasn't saved anyone.

You NRMA shill!!!!Pauline hasn't actually watched the AJ doco, but she KNOWS it was dubbed.

This is the equivalent of certain flogs on here who KNOW that George Pell is not guilty, even though they didn't hear the main witnesses testimony.
Give yourselves a pat on the back lib voters , this is where your ignorance has gotten us
Oh how they smirked when they got into office saying " THE ADULTS ARE BACK IN CHARGE "......................................
You've killed yourselves for a generation
Thanks Gough great retrospective. Kudos to Tim for refusing to release the soundtrack. You can just imagine those songs being used at Trump rallies.https://ew.com/movies/2017/09/02/tim-robbins-bob-roberts-donald-trump/
Decent interview with Robbins on Bob Roberts at 25 and the inevitable comparisons to you know who.
