I used to say that any season in which we beat Collingwood was a worthwhile one. I now feel the same way about the Injectors. I never thought another team would usurp the Pies as the Evil Dead but Essendon have achieved it. Go Saints - 2019 just became a memorable one and the party has only just got started.

Mackenzie saves his best for clinch moments.
Dunno if I’d be brushing him just yet.
Didn't have a good game , but the guy goes in hard and only being 22 , the more games for him the more confidence for the kid.
I'd back him in but we will see what the selectors come up with.

What’s Dwayne Russell’s beef with us? His commentary last week and today was so bias against us. He must have had that 33 points scribbled down on a post it note so he could keep referencing it. Absolute fwit
He's an idiot.

we seriously just gotta get him into the side, it's so important
Could feasibly see a way this side runs out toward the end of the season...

FB: Wilkie - Brown - Geary
HB: Webster - Carlisle - Savage
RK: Marshall - Clark - Ross
CR: Sinclair - Steele - Billings
HF: Parker - King - Gresham
FF: Lonie - Bruce - Membrey
INT: Acres Steven Newnes Coffield

Just wait. Early Chips evolved into later Chips.

Chips was nothing like the player he'd become at debut. From memory he was played as a forward for the first game and looked totally out of his depth.

Wilkie is running around like he's been here for 3 or 4 seasons. Pretty impressive. What's his scope for further development though? That's the question.

Hey lads

Had to go to a mate's joint for dinner. Only saw the 1st quarter.

Brilliant win. About to watch the replay.

Now.... George .... i don't have the ability to post it here myself, but can i draw your attention to post #25 in the game fred. I just noted some really astute guy's winner / margin prediction. :moustache:

The love for Parker we all undoubtedly have grows by the week.

In this weeks installment he made us love him even more by:

1. Scoring a goal and giving it to the injector fans behind the goal
2. Having the opportunity to hurt someone from the opposition and taking it in an aggressive but controlled way

He makes everyone from his teammates to supporters walk taller with his attitude. He never takes a backward step and is aggressive all the time. It's infectious stuff and he's an inspiration.

Another old Saint for new Saint comparison, Battle plays like a Wakelin.

The coaches review about 10x the footage available to the public. They would analyse the shit out of just about all of our players in that time.
They have just about every TV angle plus there's 2 cameras high in the stand just for coaches.

I know he's gonna take time, but my god I'm excited about big maxy, the thought of he and bruce stretching teams defences for the next 5 years is exciting. Don't know what's going on with coffield though, wasn't in any of the Sandy updates today... :(

willkie's like blake if blake had a semblance of a drop punt, was more composed, and had greater agility. Also Wilkie lacks in Blake's main attribute, his ability to run all day!

Wilkie's more like Robbo really

Without runners, having a general is super important. Our structures were all over the place last week despite individual good players. The unit held up tonight.
Last week itvwas said that Geary kept running back to position the players and assist in structuring up. He wouldn't have had to this week.
