I know I’m darragh’s advocate however I can’t see what brown offers over Joyce, other than experience
I'm a Joyce fan, but 6 free kicks in our back half compared to one is the obvious difference.

Once he cleans up his one o one work he'll take over.

The love for Parker we all undoubtedly have grows by the week.

In this weeks installment he made us love him even more by:

1. Scoring a goal and giving it to the injector fans behind the goal
2. Having the opportunity to hurt someone from the opposition and taking it in an aggressive but controlled way

He makes everyone from his teammates to supporters walk taller with his attitude. He never takes a backward step and is aggressive all the time. It's infectious stuff and he's an inspiration.
It was a good fair hit on McGrath. Put himself in a vulnerable position and Parker made him earn it.

Absolutely, takes great timing and skill in modern footy to execute a hit like that - hospital pass or not. He did it beautifully.

Whoever came up with the "Predator" nickname on here for Parker (think it might have been gringo2011 ) was on the money. He's going to be scaring plenty of opposition defenders for a long time to come.

Chips was nothing like the player he'd become at debut. From memory he was played as a forward for the first game and looked totally out of his depth.

Wilkie is running around like he's been here for 3 or 4 seasons. Pretty impressive. What's his scope for further development though? That's the question.

First game i remember Sam Fisher playing was against Freo at Subi Oval back in 2004, he was playing in defense and he made an impact even as a rookie.

I remember thinking that we've found a player here, you could tell he had star potential, I don't think the same with Wilkie but he's solid enough.

That was very, very satisfying! Have a warm glow in my heart and my stomach but the latter is mostly alcohol! No drinks during the game because of a high heart rate but as soon as I knew we couldn't lose I have attacked the fridge!!

So many things worked, so many players have lifted, recruiting has worked, coaching has worked and there is so much more improvement to come!!!

The most important aspect of today's game was the belief. The players believed in what they were doing and trusted their teammates. Thst is a significant change and one that will win us a lot more games than I thought possible this year.

Go Sainters!!!

I swear stringer took an energy pill.. He is an unstoppable bull. Couldn't kick for shit his mind was fuddled.

It's an old Australian saying that when man dances with a paddlepop lion it shall adorn his bosom and bestow upper body puffness, but alas, he will emulate Peter Andre with leg day and fail.

And so did it come to pass, that Stringer hobbled off with an ankle issue, came back, and shanked some kicks so he could work on becoming more of a bogan than having a full chest tattoo.

Wilkie hardly ever makes a mistake and has composure like a veteran. He looks real good to me.

dylan shiel hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha

i mean why ****in listen to chocco m8

How much p.a. did he knock back from us to play for them? We should give the money we saved from missing Shiel straight to extending Hanners contract. We are undefeated since he came to Moorabbin. Absolute goat. Purple would have an anuerism

Well done lads. I was worried there for a bit but you hung tough. I'm not getting carried away but there are some good signs for the future.

I have no idea what that means but I'm laughing anyway.

Very proud of a mature performance. We dominated them for so long and shot ourselves in the foot a bit.

The Bombers had all the momentum. They were coming.

We managed to wrestle the momentum back. We fought hard. We tackled strongly. We had numbers at the contest. Stoppage after stoppage after stoppage. It was clinical and it was mature.

Yes, we made it hard, but how good that we took control back and won it.

2-0 and the Gresh Prince is a beautiful man.

I wanted to win this game so so bad......and we did it....a great grinding win.

What really interests me is that for the 2 JLT games and the first 2 home and away games,we'd got off to a good start.....were challenged later in the game....steadied and won.

That's 4 in a row where that pattern has happened.

That aspect of our game could be huge going foward…..not good for the nerves tho.

Went down to RSEA to watch the 2nd half......about 50 there.....the atmosphere was very tense in the last 10 mins of the 3rd 1/4.....and the same in the last.

The place went banana's when Sinclair marked and goaled.....it went beserk when Gresh kicked the sealer.

I thought our pressure/structre today was great....straighten up in front of goal and look out.

Fox replayed Brucy's mark....what can you say....has to be his best at the Saints.
