It's good we won , however more importantly we have had some games to sort out our structures and game plan.
Hopefully we continue improvement , we can't kick 16 points in our next game.

I expect no selection changes next week unless we have to change due to match up's.

Fremantle are running with 4 bigs in there forward line Taberner(1.99m) , McCarthy (1.93m), Lobb (2.07m) and Hogan (1.95m) with Darcy (2.01m) in the ruck.
So we will most probably run with another tall back , but I suppose we will see tomorrow when they play the Suns.

They do have a very good side , so we will have to really be on our game.
Hope the Suns punish them.

I reckon there is every chance we can play finals if we keep this up. Freo, Hawks, Melbourne, Port, GWS, WCE at home and the Pies, before the Carlton game. That's the hardest part of the season to me and after that the draw gets easier. Our form against every one of those teams in recent times has been good. If we take wins from half of those games we are every chance IMO. Freo is probably one of the harder ones because of the home ground umpiring and improved form but not impossible.

It would be good if GC could take some of the wind out of Freo's sails.

There you are, we celebrated your win as well

That’s just great! Thank you. :D
Hope it was recorded somewhere for us to see.

Very good game by your boys, pity you couldn’t quite just finish it though.
Hopefully neither of our teams will be the easybeats predicted by the “experts.”

Agree. The songs are great when the 20 blokes in that one bay sing them about the player who kicked the goal. Broadcasting them over the PA was pathetic. I don't know if they didn't have songs for everyone or if they decided it wasn't working but it did seem to stop after the first few times. I hope it does not return for the Hawthorn game.
Search Sound Cloud for Aisle 29 they are the guys who sing the songs for each player. Funny stuff. Love the Jackie Billings

Reckon Kent is as safe as josh Bruce. Just got to kick better

He was much better but not to Bruce's standard. Bruce was unlucky not to kick 4. Looks back to his 50 goal a season form. Young is putting serious pressure on his spot by the sound of it. Not sure Bruce has anyone eyeing off his spot yet.

Parker's son I think
It was Shane Savage’s boy. Had no 5 on his back. The angle on the camera had Parker greeting him, but his Dad was on the other side. Lovely touch.

how good was that bump by Parker that took out McGrath , a fair bump but he looked very sore on the bench after , lol

I think the impressive thing about last night was we won with still a lot of improvement left to iron out

How many dropped easy marks did we have and easy set shots were missed?

We're a different side when our ruckman can participate around the ground, I thought Marshall was fantastic in this regard

Thank God we've dropped our good boy drafting policy, we definitely wouldn't have picked up Parker whose been an absolute revelation! Parker has this controlled aggression he doesn't take things too far. when he's near the ball you know something good is about to happen

Changes for next week I'm not too sure but we need to fit Hunter in somehow

Great win by the boys will be great to have the media off out back for a week, hopefully some positive vibes are flowing through the team

He isn't going to be dropped on that form and I reckon Young didn't do much yesterday so I doubt there is to much pressure. He is down the pecking order. Probably behind 4 or 5 at the moment. Long for a start.

Watching the replay and just winced at the opportunities we burned. Great display, but our finishing still needs work. And some of the umpiring ...,dear me. We were the beneficiaries of a couple late on, but had some shockers against us. And some very obvious ones missed. I know I’m one eyed, but I was cooler and calmer watching the replay. Still bad.

Well, you know...no need to be calling nobodys by their nickname!
Nah, I'm a bit of a Bob fan whether he pots us or not. Have been as long as I can remember.

He doesn't pot us. He actually said during the week that he would love to see some of the big clubs go 0-2. Let's save all our hate for Purple

Parker is wiry but hard, he was hurting GC players just in tackles. They are slow to get up after he gets them. He hits them with pace and there is no fat on him so it's like being hit with a bag full of angle iron.

Was a ripper. Loved the way he lowered himself for the hit. No chance he got him high. Jack Dyer would have approved.

Yeah to be fair to him, he was on SEN before the match talking about how much pressure was on the Bombers and strategising their mental down fall. Basically said if we can hold course and have them back footed then we would start to see mental cracks appear in them the longer the game went on. He's pretty close mates with Rooey and loves an under dog.

Who played on Tippa and Fantasia?
I tried to gauge that on the replay. But Tippa had Webster, Battle and McKenzie on him at various stages. They seemed to rotate around man on man, and Savage was generally loose in general play. At least that’s what it looked like to me.

How did you hit them
