Just give it to Phillips.....
Or Jess Foley, honestly enjoyed her ruck/utility work as any other player in the team. I reckon her influence was under rated on the team to be honest.

Isn’t Stevie-Lee a Maori? The crows are in a different competition. I don't think we will see a side this superior in AFLW again. They just systematically dismantled every side they faced. The girls comp now is every bit as exciting as the men's.
The AFL will no doubt be scratching their heads at how they have failed to establish a Victorian club as the darlings of the AFLW however Adelaide has brought a spark the AFL could only have dreamt of and never imagined. It's an amazing feeling being around grass roots girls footy and seeing the quality of players and I think Adelaide and its list of stars have inspired girls all over the country. Stevie-Lee is a hero to Aboriginal girls all over Australia. The AFL need to stop using second rate girls footballers in Victoria for promotions and start pumping out Phillips and Marinoff.
Well done to the AFC, fantastic women's team and the culture and professionalism is going to set the standard for decades. Great club.
Did you take these pics yourself, because they are stunning!
Really, you’re complaining that 50k+ came out to support the team because they’re not “real” supporters?Big crowds are great. But what pissed me of was that alot of AFC fans at this game gave little to no shits about AFLW and simply decided to gate crash the party of those of us who go to every game. This is why free tickets don't work. Instead of having 20,000 keen AFLW fans enjoying the game and AO facilities plus the public transport on offer we got screwed. Yes it's great to have that support but do it the whole season don't just turn up because you want to join in the party. Utter selfish behaviour. I don't blame AO nor Adelaide metro for this.
If you’ve gone every week then you would’ve got there early just in case. I understand the point about bandwagoners but that’s what winners create. It’s the same as United’s grand final, I’m a member and made sure I got the best seats I could however I coukdvand had a great day along with the 25k-35k bandwagoners, it all made for a great day I’ll never forget, as did today. Plan ahead and don’t get caught out.The girls didn't have their day ruined by it. I said the big crowd was great. Just provide that support all year. I went to every game. At least 30,000 of those that turned up hadn't been to one.
Phillips – 3, 3, 2, 2, 1 (11)Has anyone got the complete voting for BOG? Eloise Jones must have come close - she was instrumental in so many scoring chains

I'll just get my keys....The girls after party is at 'The Highway' in case anyone was wondering.....
Absolutely.Outstanding performance from the team. Just way too good for every other team.
I think we should also congratulate the club as a whole. We like to rip them for lots of different issues, but they have hit the AFLW introduction out of the park.
Phillips – 3, 3, 2, 2, 1 (11)
Hatchard – 3, 3, 2, 1, 1 (10)
J. Foley – 3, 1 (4)
Randall – 2, 1 (3)
Davey – 2 (2)
Great summationI ******* love these girls
Shattered for Chloe and Erin, but nobody can take away the fact that they are premiership players. I really hope it's not the last we see of Erin. And Chloe is one of my absolute favorites, hope she comes back stronger than ever and takes another hanger in next year's grand final!
Bit of a strange game in many ways. The umpiring was frankly baffling. Crowd figure seemed significantly inflated but still at least 45k plus was an absolutely incredible turnout. Erin MVP on the back of 2.5 quarters feels strange too but there wasn't another standout I guess, very even contribution across the ground. Such a high scoring first half and then the second half we kicked just one goal to Carlton's zero.
But all strangeness aside, we were the better side from the opening bounce all the way to the final siren. Every player stood up and made us proud. The best team won and won well. In the end, Carlton only managed to match our quarter time score. Ponter matched them in a quarter. We set the standard this year that other teams will strive to emulate going forward. In the last three weeks we've conceded just four goals while kicking 31 ourselves. Unstoppable, hungry, passionate, amazing.
Matthew, Erin and Chelsea all spoke excellently, particularly Erin given her injury. I thought the choir at half time was exceptional too. With no disrespect meant to Amy Shark, they were the best singers of the day.
I couldn't be prouder of this bunch of amazing women. Let's all come back and do it again next year, girls! I reckon we're just two premierships into a dynasty.
Might’ve had something in my eye at some odd times today, it’s a day of footy that has been a turning point in the game for many reasons and I’m glad to have been there.Today I cried, before a ball was even bounced because I couldn't believe how many people were there for a woman's sporting event.
Then I cried when the girls ran out to such a loud cheer and it really felt like a grandfinal.
Next I cried when I saw Chloe go down knowing she's previously done and ACL
Then absolutley lost it crying when Erin went down, the same as when I was 9 and Tony Modra went down in 97, more tears flowed as I realised the entire stadium was on its feet giving Erin a Standing ovation.
The siren sounded at the end of the game and once again cried because I was so happy and proud of our girls our members and our club.
Its been a very emotional day. I love this club with my entire being
