Was interesting to hear him use the phrase stagnant towards the end of his time at Port, to recognise that and want to improve from it - has me really excited for the endeavour I believe he has developed since walking through the doors at Hawthorn, he's looking to make some statements and prove a few people wrong I think.

Chad needs at least another week on the track to get himself into somewhere near match condition ready as unlike Skulls , he HAS missed a fair bit of training over the last 5-6 weeks. Skulls has been almost flat out over that time.

Has he been ruled out for round 2?

In the Hawks TV interview it certainly didn't sound like he would be playing this week and I walked away thinking he may not play AFL level until Round 4...

What are people's thoughts where chad will play

If he's picked, I expect he'll spend most of his time inside forward 50, with rotations to the lead-up high half forward role, as his fitness allows...

Wouldn't surprise me if he misses this week as well though, based on the way he has been discussed on the BUPA injury updates.

Going by the BUPA updates he's a test to play this week.

Fingers crossed he gets up because he would instantly make us a better side.

Also because I'll be attending the game and I want to see him terrorize for us instead of against us for a change.

I can't bloody wait to watch him have a lazy 30 disposals and kick 6 goals.

Unrealistic? I think not.

I think he’s playing mate.

I bloody well hope so mate, it'll be awesome if he gets up.

I remember watching a Hawks v Port game a couple years back and he tore us a new rectal opening.

The missus was like WTF is that w***er, since the trade I've been trying to show her highlights to win her over with little success.

Let's hope now he's playing for us he can change her mind because I haven't been able to yet.

Be interesting to see how Chad goes in his first game of the season, beautiful player to watch which makes me look forward to sunday, also need the game to arrive fast as the Dogs result isn't sitting well.
