$3.05 on Sportsbet.... love it.. people still just expect us to be crap I think 😂

Beat the Suns “it was just the suns” then they should’ve smashed the brilliant week 1 Dockers.

Beat Essendon and it’s more about Essendon, not our complete domination of them and the fact we could’ve been way out in front had we converted.

Now we travel to Perth to play Freo who just got dominated by the Gold Coast and we are given very little chance.

Wouldn’t have it any other way!
Shhh.
I made good money off of our terrible odds last week. Would like to see that continue.

So did all my mates 😂 I can’t bring myself to bet on the saints, I’m superstitious like that, I’m afraid I’ll jynx us but all my mates backed us at like $3.20-$3.30 whatever we were and won.

On the travel factor i think Ratten's experience in the way the Hawks travel interstate will help & Lades been involved with a travelling side most of his career be it player or coach, we're at a stage were we are starting to see what we get on a consistent bases were as Freo are still a bit of a Jekyll & Hyde type of side no one knows what to expect.
All i know is we are becoming a reliable side & resilient under pressure we can win this game no doubt provided the men in yellow don't influence the contest.

Hello all, thought I'd pop over to come wish you guys good luck this week. Loved the look of you guys so far this season and expect a tough battle against you guys. Ideally I'd like a big win for us after that shamble yesterday, but hope for a good game. Have a good week everyone

Don't understand how one could hate Fremantle more than the monstrosity that is West Coast, but hey, each to their own.

man where do you start!!!! i could write a novel! i'll keep it short.

i'm trying to find a way to explain it for those over east. i guess it would be like the AFL creating another victorian team, which will be the merger between carlton and collingwood, then call it north melbourne sandgropers. but carlton and collingwood will still actually exist and sandgropers have nothing to do with victoria. but when they started they decided to poach as much of richmond as they could. that's fremantle. it's like a horribly botched version of GWS but with the Port Adelaide thinking behind it.

WCE is more like Hawthorn but without the history pre-1980s. they were more seen as the WA state side by many. now they're this big corporate entity. so they get away with a fair bit.

but in terms of feralness, freo leave WCE behind in their wake. there is literally nothing good about freo. all the bad parts of being a big plastic corporation mixed in with all the bad parts of their location.

they also have a terrible standard for violence against women and children at their games.

I lived in WA for 10 years and don't think I ever came across a neutral fan that hated the Dockers more than the Eagles.

did you leave your house?

in all seriousness when was that though. pre 2006 dockers were pretty well liked by everyone. eagles were also cocky and arrogant as all ****. a lots changed post cousins! its flipped pretty much

All my mates go for West Coast and they're all dickheads ;)

Yeah I left the year they lost the flag to Sydney. I knew a couple of lads that played for West Coast at the time, they were ****ing mental.

Went into the season under the pump in a huge way and the group would have been feeling it, but those two wins will have lifted most, if not all that pressure off, and now we get to go away, where there's pretty much no pressure or expectation on us, and hopefully that will free us up to really go into the game with a nothing-to-lose attitude.

Just really take it to them in a big way right from the start, and not let them get it out of our forwardline, like we did to Essendope.

Win this, and some serious belief will start to grow ahead of a few more games that look imminently winnable now.

ahhh i see where you are coming from. yeah you went through the most arrogant **** witt group of players you will ever see. rubbed off on their supporters big time. its like the hawthorn supporter arrogance with a list of complete an utter feral bogans. then their supporters would go full essendope in their defence of their players.

post cousins falling out, they changed completely. to the point they were labelled vanilla by most. supporters were called the "chardonnay set". seen as elderly and quiet. they're very big business now.

freo now have lost that under dog vibe they had. they're completely feral. with the ross lyon bubble in full effect. i'm not sure the majority of freo fans even like their club right now.

i saw family members of one of their players, verbally abuse two older ladies in one of the boxes at subi. then proceeded to try and climb into the box to assault them. security had to intervene. they're absolutely feral.

put it this way, we were living in the heart of freo's zone. my boy had 1 club visit from fremantle in his time at primary school. WCE were there every year without fail. sometimes twice. his auskick clinic had wce players attend. freo sent no one. despite it actually being at the ground of their WAFL affiliate. remind you of anything?

Miserable Pom says Freo by 30. It's a very tough place to go, and I'm concerned the scoreboard might run away from us early on. On the other hand, it's a free hit, as nobody expects Saints to win this. If we are still competitive in the second half, we just might cause a surprise.

First real test for the make shift defence with 3 out and out talls.

Lobb > wilkie
McCarthy > battle
Tab > Brown
Hogan ? On the wing might creative a mismatch

Let’s not forget Port Adelaide were sitting pretty at 11-4 last year, and then...

Anywho, I don’t quite expect us to win, so I feel it’s another “opportunity” game with a positive mindset towards it, rather than the pressure of too much expectation if that makes sense.

Just an awful, awful timeslot.
