Yeah but for how long? Hore could get another one night stand and then straight out again.
Need to get a few more ScrimsHore comments in before I drop-punt the demon and split up my best name combo pairing...…hopefully Hore is back this week

I've got Wagner. Is it worth a trade and 75k to get LDU?
Or wait for someone like Hately about 40k cheaper
Or get Gibbons?
Thoughts?
Get the funky Gibbon

Gives you some extra cash and he really has no competition for the small forward spot at Carlton as Silvagni is trash.

Think I'm correct in that Gibbo spent a bit of time last week on the Wing

I was at the game

He spent a bit of time in the midfield but I was not paying real close attention to him as he is not in my team.

We need Geelong fans to rank their rooks for us. They seem to have the most going alright so far.
Which has most JS when they lose 2 in a row.

Kentstoble Clark Miers Atkins

Dont have Atkins or Miers.

Thought they would have toned up in both games like T.Kelly has.

I did some advanced stats last night.

Was pretty clear the must haves are LDU and Drew. LDU has the 3rd lowest TOG% out of all rookies atm, and clearly the best points per minute. He's top 10 in the AFL in goal assists and score involvements, despite being a center square midfielder. Disposal efficiency elite for his role. If he converted more than his 1/5 shots on goal, hed probably be averaging 110+.

Drew looks like being the best tackler of the crop this year. Best JS of the entire crop with great TOG% numbers and solid disposal/DE% combo.

Id be looking at Cousins in lieu of Butters, Butters' average looks nice, but he's not going to go at 1.5 goals a game in the near future, Cousins is the same, but along with Drew, he's a good tackler. Butters DE% is pretty poor.

Bailey Scott another must have, despite the quiet week. His DE is 90+% in an advanced attacking role, which is #1 in the AFL for wingman.

Scrimshaw is another worthy of consideration, he's on fairly low TOG%, his disposal efficiency is good and he will probably up his disposal once he gets more comfortable.

Walsh was the big red flag. His disposal effeciency, turnovers etc are attrocious after the first 2 rounds. He's got great meters gained numbers, because he's bombing long all the time to contests which isn't good for supercoach. He's also completely outside at the moment with poor tackle numbers and the worst contested possession ratio of all rookies.

You're confident on Scott - any feeling on why his week 2 was so bad and just a blip? Your description of advanced attacking role has me thinking small forward, avoid, to be honest regardless of his de%

Re: Walsh, u realise long kicks to contests are effective disposals. If that happens to be a inside 50 as well that gets an extra point.

He was playing at half back. Was barely on the ground after half time. Didnt register a stat in the last qtr

His disposal efficiency is 53.1%, only Chayce Jones has a worse DE% among rookies w/ 52.4%.

Walsh is double the next best rookie for turnovers a game though, 7.5 per game.

His meters gained are big at 442m, but a fair % of these long kicks are going direct to the opposition.

He was playing on the wing for the first qtr and a half, he was very good.

Unsightable after that, he was moved back, his TOG% after qtr time was 50%

Then he isnt kicking to a contest. He kicks are getting intercepted alot or going straight to the opposition.
