Oh why, oh why did we let him go. Such a A grader.Straight swap for Seedsman.
Where did your first-rounder go?sorry to intrude but the report is a bit off as the crows don't hold a 1st rounder + the Carlton 1st - it is just the Carlton 1st and the Carlton 2nd. Look, we would love Grundy and I am not surprised in the least that the club may have enquired, however I always understood Grundy was keen to move interstate when he was drafted (I heard that from a few of my Sturt FC contatcs back in the day) and he has not once as far as i can see made any noise about returning to Adelaide. I think this one is very unlikely to be anything more than media speculation

part of the deal to get Carlton's 1st (they got our pick 19 late year) and also a swap of 2019 1sts. We are bullish we will be getting pick 1 this year...check out our carlton death riding threadWhere did your first-rounder go?

Ideally we would re-sign him now but I think both he and JDG will hold off for a bit and try to milk a bit more. Either way they will be well-compensated by us.
I think both will stay, and both seem to love the club very much.
The Crows are the biggest risk, however, when it comes to Grundy. Obviously he is from SA, and Sam Jacobs is nearing retirement age. If they throw up their first-rounder plus Carlton's first-rounder in a deal before Grundy is a free agent, what do you think the club does?
Can't see him leaving. When I had a chat with him last year at a VFL game, he talked like he was really happy and loved playing for Collingwood.
Didn't sound like spin either as I was just asking about playing AFL in general..

He said at the BnF he wants to be a Collingwood premiership ruckman, of course that could be a thing in just 6 months time but I think that shows he wants to stay long term.. well I hope so anyways
Port just spent a fortune on getting Lycett. What about Port after Drafting his Brother?
Intresting next year with 2 of our Best Players coming out of Contract

Doesn’t R I P stand for
Saintly, do us all a favour and kindly shut the f**k up.To me a total non discussion.
Grundy will be with us all the way through.
Oh dear shock jock Cornes crying into his corn flakes again.First it was Sier now its Grundy....
“We know there have been reports of Adelaide being into Brodie Grundy from Collingwood - the South Australian, he’s got one year left on his contract before he becomes a free agent," added Cornes.
“(Adelaide) need to up the ante with that. It’s probably going to cost them $1.1 million to try and get him back (to South Australia).

Yeah this is an absolute non-issue.It seems I’m on the outer with getting salty over this one! We’re currently 18 months out from his contract expiring and in the thick of a run at the flag. Yes 2019 is the year to do a deal if he wants out, but this particular issue should be the furthest thing from anyone’s mind at Collingwood until he approaches us to extend his stay.
I have a healthy respect for Adelaide, I support their AFLW team, but this is one where we issue a firm, yet polite, “**** off”.
