So can we take this to mean the coaches thought our structures were otherwise fine against Brisbane, then?

Just the lack of goalkicking accuracy and a few down performances the difference?

Righto.

I think we nailed this draft. I'm happy for us to have another pretty shitty year, get another decent pick and let Schoey take over next year. Finishing 8th and bowing out in an EF would be a disaster.

I realise the tone of the post but fundamentally that is it. Plus a smattering of 'you get 1 more chance' to a few, and that there is no-one else available who is clearly a better choice.

Depressing garbage. F*** David Koch for putting us through another season of this.

We'll fall over the line against a wounded and depleted Richmond (giving the likes of Bonner and Sam Gray a gold pass until midseason) and then West Coast will brain us on the way to another meaningless midtable finish.

I hate supporting a club with these bumbling, incompetent idiots in charge.

Not for the first time this season I'm shocked by the odds.

I expect a narrow port win, but for us to be 1.34 against a flag favourite with both sides missing players and having players out of form feels seriously strange
I'm putting a cool $150 on Richmond. They'll win this.

One of the positives are this week we don’t have an emergency being held back from playing any footy.
Exactly what I was thinking. It's such a minor thing but it means the 23rd player thats on the fringe like a Farrell can actually get a chance to prove himself and earn his spot in front of an inevitable failure from a player like Sammy.

Definitely a positive.

That is basically what Jonas said. But Jonas also said there would be no gold passes this year.
