Brad = 105 av
Cripps = 125 av
20 points difference. Worth ~100k excepting C scored.

Would't base long term plans around pretending Cripps is gonna post a 170 every week.
Cripps ave is a bit more than 125 ......At this stage 29% have Cripps as (C) ...I know with loopholes & last minute team changes, that figure would change .....but I'd be confident in saying, if you don't have Cripps, you're in for a lot of pain

Thoughts on doing a Roughead manoeuvre with O'Brien/Bines?

Sauce apparently will find out tomorrow if he needs surgery on his knee, if he needs surgery then ROB will be a must have, but the forwards could be depleted this week and having a donut in Bines there structurally will hurt, but the cash potential is enormous too, once ROB peaks in price dump back for Binesy (Setterfield can loophole next two weeks)

Hhmmmmm...
Absolutely !! .....that's my plan

Do it. Will help me out immensely. Thanks.
Not sure how given my team will literally be a 100-point better team based on averages by round 7. I expect a few averages to fall, but the moves literally take it from a 2270 average team to a 2370 average team. And for every ROB and Marshall average that might fall, I will have upgraded the likes of Parker and Drew whose averages were already falling.

Then that leftover $200k with all my actually good rookies starting to hit their bubble. Delicious.

Why is the Gawn to ROB trade being shamed?

Gawn average of around 110-115
ROB average of 80-85
Loss of around 30 points however enough cash to get Boak AAAANNNNNDDD Whitfield in if i wish over two rookies who would be scoring 60's at best.... cumulative scoring gain of maybe 100 points
I will be doing it if Jacobs goes under the knife otherwise i will go with Mummy who could come close to Gawn's output

I don't expect either Cripps or Neale to end up averaging 125+ this year.

Because people have this bizarre idea that Supercoach is a science which contains some rules (in this instance, set and forget) which you can't defy, as if there aren't circumstances wherein defying those ideas could potentially be beneficial. Very different case obviously, but I wonder if the same people avoided Stefan Martin in 2014 when he came in at round 12 costing $242k and ended up averaging 112.

Your main upgrade target, Whitfield will not be averaging 130 for very long. You do know that?

Well, yeah. Drew probably won't average 73 for very long. Parker probably won't average 64 for very long. Butters probably won't average 62 for very long. Wouldn't surprise me if Brayshaw averages more than 103 as he gets more TOG. These things happen over the season.

Don't see any reason why Cripps and Neale can't go at 125+ for the season. Maybe the new rules are helping? Neale's clearance numbers are through the roof, not sure if the rules are helping him use it well from the clearance.
Is it a waste of a trade to go Z.Clarke -> R.O’Brien?
ROB probably makes an extra $100k or so. Someone else might be a better judge of whether $100k is worth it though.

ROB won't end up averaging 80-85 this year. Quite a few good ruckmen won't average that much. My estimate (65-75) for ROB
Boak won't be averaging 128 from much longer (95-105) Will start attracting a tag. Current numbers unsustainable
Whitfield will not average 130 (110-112) Which will still be #1 def average though. Won't get within 10 of Gawn's season average
Gawn will average 120-125 Dee's have been awful so far and he's still managed to go at 110 whilst being robbed blind by CD. 160+ score iminent.

Gawn hasn't exactly been up against quality ruckmen thus far either, to be fair.

Nank, McEvoy and Witts over the next few weeks should be more challenging than the likes of Sinclair, Stanley and Bellchambers/Clarke.

So ...you're saying Gawn will average over the season, more than Cripps ?? .....why exactly do you think that ?

With ROB ....he's a bit like Marshall / McEvoy ......not great tap ruckmen, but they can get around the ground well

ROB was in our top 3 in the PS time trials ....he sucks at rucking, but he'll accumulate possessions & get better with more games ....reckon he's good for an 80 average

It's why I had enough confidence to bring him in for Gawn. Statistically, even from his 2016 matches, looks like he can find the football. Combine that with being able to be competitive in the ruck against Stanley and Goldy and surely he's good for 80+.

Seems to fit the mould of ruckmen who tend to do well in Supercoach.
