Everyone acknowledged that round one was the best time to get them because they they’d had a month’s less pre season and had multiple big name players out and what’s more, we were close to favourites. I’m talking about winning a game that we were massive under dogs like both Freo and St Kilda were. We haven’t done that at all this year which all of Gold Coast, St Kilda and Fremantle has, which IMO is the sign of a club turning a corner and improving. I’m not sure we have.

We were paying about $4 to best west coast in round 1.

Saint Kilda were paying about $2ish to beat Melbourne.

Edit: fact checking myself and this might not be true woops

We haven’t been massive underdogs yet then by your metric. So you are annoyed we haven’t risen to a specific challenge that we haven’t even been presented with.

In any case, being fixtured against Melbourne early in this season is a bigger gift than getting West Coast in round 1.

We started underdogs rounds 1-3. St Kilda weren't massive underdogs today, started +14.5 or so which is pretty much same as what We started vs WC and Port.

Really enjoying the Swans v Tigers, the type of footy I love, high intensity, harassing, aggressive, gut running hard at it footy with both teams trying to play a fast attacking style.

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the push and shove after a good contested mark in the forward line. Attacking player takes a great one on one grab and his teammate races over to the defender and gives them a shove and a mouthful them continues it as other players move in creating a bit of a scuffle. It seems to happen quite often now.

Lukosius/Rankine & Rozee/Butters - Suns n Port's kids are making a difference in 2019.
As others have mentioned, Rankine hasn't played yet this season, and Lukosius has been pretty ordinary so far. For the Suns, it's been their mature age recruits, the traded in mids, and KPP's they picked up from the State Leagues from the AFL concessions.

Soo, they play Richmond next week.

Has anyone ever made finals after being 1-5. Aside from Sydney.

I don't think so, no.

And just on Richmond - after last week's effort against Port and backing up so far tonight, they look hungrier than WC to me. Really impressive.
