Feels right even though I lose the def/fwd link, and now have no money in the kitty.

Was going parker to daniel. Unfortunately i have both Menengola and Dunks so may wait and go butters to fyfe in a week or two. My worst season yet but have 28 trades left so optimistic that i can turn the season around.

I want to trade out Parker/Burgess. But seeing somehow rookies can pull out a magic 80+ this week. Petrocelle/Gibbons I am pretty hesitant to do it.

Pretty keen to trade out Moore -> Baker. Might lose a few points each week, but huge cash generation potential. Idk.

Allows me to upgrade Rozee > Kelly (FWD) or Rozee > Rockliff/Conligio (MID) or Rozee > Sicily.

Just have to decide on what line I want to strengthen.

Well, I could do a safe boring trade like:
LDU>Ross
Parker>Caleb

...but is that really going to get me anywhere in the chase for rankings or am I just treading water? I dunno.

I’m not fully there yet, but I’m entertaining something wild. These trades were a discussion point last week and whilst most chastised it, I could see some merit in it. Ranking is slipping (14k) and I’m in DGAF mode. If I don’t rattle the cage I’ll just remain in no mans land and that’s just vanilla boring.

I’m tired of leaking pts with shit fwd rookies with campaigners like Balta and Parker who should NEVER see daylight. Drew (although studly this week) was a potato last week and inconsistent. Much prefer to use him as bench dpp floater and loophole a big score if he goes bang!

RoB looks ok and kinda wasting away at R3 with an 80 odd average, whilst I field those shitkickers I mentioned above who struggle to score 50. He could cover Max temporarily whilst I beef up my weakest line. Like sswans I’m projecting a -40pt differential (anything closer a bonus) but now I’m fielding Telly/Walters > LDU/Parker.

Yeah I know Barbara is a burnman but I had him last year and I’m not afraid. He’s in ripping form and I can’t ignore. Call me mad but I’m in dgaf mode so consider this is my ‘shark move’. There’s enough cows to cull and upgrade RoB>Gawn by rd8-9 or worst case if I panic, sideways someone like Marshall>Gawn if Hollas batteries fail to spark.

Next week Parker>Hately. Drew and Setters (who will pull off a Menadue book it) will swing dpp benches.

Baker better. Neither have good JS though.

Ross is an inside mid only, he might go for Graham this week and if not he'll definitely go for Cotchin the week after.

Jack is coming back, but Baker has been better than Bolton, and Butler isn't a walk up.

Get rid of him. He'll be out for 4-6 weeks. There's no point in holding him you'll lose points.

As AFDogs said, you've got to get rid of him. No sideways options so hopefully you can upgrade him. I'd only downgrade Milera if you don't have Hore and even that isnt the ideal trade as you've missed out on Hore's 75k rise. That said, he should still make another 100k+ how he is going.

Without seeing your team i cant give you an opinion on which rookie you can potentially downgrade to fund upgrading Milera. Whitfield/Lloyd/Hurn should be on your radar but if you have all of them or don't think they are value for money then Laird and Sicily are options. As a bit of a POD i think Crisp is good value, but he is up and down. Getting Lloyd and Whitfield in particular should be your first priority!

2 upgrades this week for me.
Milera > Hurn

Bit of a bastard to have to trade out Milera when I'm looking to complete my side ASAP, but by the time he's back and bottoms out, Hately > Milera could be a pretty cheap upgrade. And Milera will be a good D6 with a high ceiling IMO.

Parker > Daniel or Boak

What are people's thoughts there? Boak seems the obvious choice, but not sure whether he can sustain his form for a full season (people thought he looked cooked last year) and his price tag is scary.

Next week Clark to Hately and Butters to Hayes (if he has JS) will get me back to $300k+. Shame I missed out on Stack because it seems he has the most JS of Tiger rookies.
