Horridly s**t defending, to much ball watching and not enough manning up. Way to many unchecked players on that second goal.

Looks like we are going to have to rely on the smaller teams now.

If City hold on, they will be on 90 pts.

No side has NOT won the title with 90+ pts.

Yeah, my bad, was looking at a live ladder that had City on 87 when the score was 0-0.

Only Man Utd has not won a title with 89 pts, and that was only on goal difference.

Small psychological advantage but we play our next 2 games at least a day before City. Hopefully they feel a little pressure having to continually overtake us.

That’s all we can do, just keep winning so they go into every game feeling the screws tighten until hopefully they crack.

United’s last 9 games, all comps:

P-9 W-2 D-0 L-7 GF-6 GA-18

0 clean sheets, failed to score 5 times inc. their last 3 games

Just get the sinking feeling that City aren't gonna budge and Barca do us in the semis and it all ends with nothing. :'(
I don’t really like this post but it has that feeling.
Sturridge and Origi should start against Hudders. I would give Mane and Salah a rest on the bench. We should be burying Hudders at home. Bigger fish to fry in the next two weeks. Newcastle and Wolves will be tough with Barca in between.

Still been a great journey following this famous club this season, we are getting closer. City arguably best team ever assembled in the epl and we’ve gotten to within a game of winning the thing. Still an attacking mid and a forward away from taking the next step I believe

I remember watching "Bring it on" and the main cheer group faced adversity and came second. They all look disappointed Then the leader kirsten dunst said "we came second" and screamed. Then they all celebrated.

Maybe that's our destiny this year

an CB to pair with VVD and some better depth. It's getting better, but it needs more to be able compete with City in the league.

Wouldn't mind targeting Pepe up front, been sensational for Lille. Wish we had the money to target Matthijs de Ligt. Yes I know we have Gomez who is highly rated, yes Matip has been solid recently. VVD is almost 28, would basically be a Virgil clone in essence with a good defensive side and strong leadership that would set the club at CB for at least a decade. We would be stupid not to consider it and would be disappointed if we don't at least.

No doubt Fekir will be talked about again. Rabiot wont cost a cent transfer wise. Would target Asensio if he still isn't starting each week.

Expect Milner to retire, Lallana, Origi, Strurridge, Moreno all to depart. I reckon Man City has peaked. We just need to be more potent up front, especially breaking down stubborn defensive set ups, can't rely on the counter all the time.

Yes I know the season isn't over yet, but transfer rumors and talk never ends :p

If it was up to me I'd sell Lallana & Grujic. Replace them with Fekir (30-40 million) and The Ox returning from injury. Give Millie one more year. Sell Lovren and replace with quality young CB. Sell Origi, release Sturridge and buy another quality forward. Sell Mignolet, too good to be a #2 and on a #1 wage. Sales of Ings, Origi, Lallana, Lovren & Mignolet should be able to fund a large portion of buying 3 quality players.

It looks over, but City do still need to go out there and win these next three games. Sunday night away at Burnley will be interesting, so will home to Leicester who have been in good form. And again, don't underestimate Brighton on the final day of the season for two reasons - the potentiality of Brighton needing to win to stay in the league, and the potentiality of City needing to win to win the league.

I reckon it'll go right down to the final day.
