Bucks silenced the crowd well.

Umpiring was shit and Essendon were stiff. I'd be pissed too.

However...not once did Essendon actually lead the game. A better start and less hack kicks from Shiel and maybe they would've won the game.

Exactly. First quarter was well underdone. Only 6 pts. Gotta play 4 quarters

Was shit umpiring all game. Essendon were also gifted a goal from a pathetic free.

Two goals actually. Non-existent frees against Grundy on Guelfi, and Langdon on Baguley. Both direct shots at goal and converted.

Lots of shocking non-calls in the Pies favour, but they were a long way from goal and unlikely to have changed the result based on how the game was played and how hard it was to create a scoring play.

So you can legally dispose of the ball now with only one free arm?

I've been counting the number of throws ' allowed ' this year and it currently stands at 1237 clear throws and almost double the amount of ' dubious ' disposals across the entire competition , maybe one day one of the 36 different footy shows around these days might like to mention the fact that one of the foundation rules the game is built on has been surreptitiously changed without a peep from anyone

A legal disposal is no longer a handball but now it is a handball motion

Sh*ts me to tears

You're going to see a lot of them on Saturday night.

I think he makes up for it in other areas, like the ability to heavily impact a game playing forward. People know Cogs disposal isn't elite, but Shiel gets spoken about like he's unbelievably good. Mundy and Walters are both better and reliable users of the ball, easily.
How about Coniglio? Disposal also not great.

I didn't either. I'm with Bucks on this, you don't boo champions. He didn't pick himself for the medal.
I did for a millisecond before I gathered myself, I liked how Bucks corrected himself to you don’t boo fullstop. My preferred option.
