"I'd say, from my point of view, I expect to win every week. So I think we win when I expect to win sometimes and we lose when I expect to win sometimes. I just think that's the competition that I deal with and the team lives in, so we don't...we never not expect not to win. I think it's hard for people outside to understand that. We think...if you asked me last week, before we played West Coast Eagles, I expected to win. I didn't go over there thinking it was going to be an enormous upset that everyone else was promoting. I was over there with a team that was really confident in what they were capable of doing if they get it right." - Ken Hinkley

Norf getting a huge roasting from the media the last couple of days. Don't rate them but anyone if they put in the effort can make a game of it. We have to be harder than them at the contest from the start. Who knows what we'll serve up.

I think we have a good record on Anzac round over the years too. Might be wrong but I think we get a bit pumped up for this round.
I think it's around 60% win rate but don't quote me on it.

I totally agree with this but based on their form this year North are 11th for 1st quarters won (we are 12th) but after that they are in the bottom 2 for wins in each of the 2nd, 3rd and last quarter.

Our coaches should be in the ears of our players saying that we should aim to dominate from the start but based on this season's form they probably won't be able to stick with us even if the first quarter is close.

Of course if we don't dictate the play we could end up with another midfield performance like the one against Richmond, so who really knows?

Considering what Port and North have done and let be done so far, the game would unfold like this:

QT, Port 3.3:21 - North 3.3:21 (0)
HT, Port 7.6:48 - North 5.5:35 (+13)
3T, Port 10.9:69 - North 8.8:56 (+13)
FT, Port 14.12:96 - North 11.10:76 (+20)

Haha can you bet on that from Brazil?

Yeah nah look we've just smashed the reigning premier away from home and are playing the 18th placed team on our home deck but gee we need to be careful this isn't going to be easy we'll get what we deserve.
Liar Liar starring Ken: Yeah nah even though we've just smashed the reigning premiers away from home look we're still very much cooked in the head so yeah even though North are utter shit gee history says we're still a good chance of shitting our dacks in the most hilarious way.

Not a fan of Bonner but had a decent game against wet toast

I thought it was a very good game by Bonner.
One good play of his was to kick the ball to Ryder, continue on though the centre, getting a handball back, then kick it to Ebert.
If Ebert was not hiding behind an Eagles player, instead of playing in front, he should have marked it, and had a shot at goal.

So North will hit the front early in the last qtr then?
Swear jar is going to have a lot of money in it post game methinks.
