Lol. Viney averaged 6 tackles, 5 inside 50s and 7.2 clearances per game last year from 25 disposals/14 contested possessions. Was unreal during finals. Absolutely will never achieve anything like that again in future.

Doesn't rack up the ball like Clarry and Gus when he's down on form. Will always hold him back.

It’s a big call but I’d consider it if it meant getting what we wanted. Won’t happen though.

Unfortunately for Viney his foot injuries have potentially stunted further development. Hopefully he can get back to his best. I wouldn’t be trading him. Probably too tough for his own good. Plays a style that will win finals. But we need to find some outside players to compliment the inside beasts. All our mids Justin going for the same ball and no spread. Doesn’t help that Viney Oliver Brayshaw and Harmes all had very interrupted pre seasons.

Unfortunately for Viney his foot injuries have potentially stunted further development. Hopefully he can get back to his best. I wouldn’t be trading him. Probably too tough for his own good. His penchant for playing too hard has stunted his development. Even though he is strong and tough, he is very small. His form this year has been average but I’m disappointed that he’ll miss, he is one of the few in the side that tackles with purpose and effect. Opposition players hate playing against him because he is a lunatic in the way he attacks the ball. I would’ve tried him in a pressure forward role if he hadn’t have gotten injured. Nonetheless his form had been poor this year and he needs to learn to play smart not hard.
