There’s literally a stream to prove it didn’t happen what was the caller thinking 😂
Having said that, I really did like the look of the jumpers the Peel team wore on the weekend, it is a lot cleaner than the "traditional" Peel strip. Does anyone know if it is a permanent thing or a special one-off?

I believe (and I could be wrong so someone correct me if i am), that they changed their jumper ahead of this season, and that’s it now. I hope so, it’s soooo much better!

Finally got to see the 2nd half, thanks for posting freo_leo29

I am now all aboard the Amiss train, he has close to everything you want in a KPF.
  • Aggression in the marking contest
  • Terrific timer of leads
  • Looks to have a great tank
  • Agile, fast thinker
  • He's even defensive orientated and lay some great tackles

I wasnt sure before getting to watch this game, but I think in 10 years time we might all be thanking Cerra for leaving, kid looks an absolute gun IMO.

Also, shout out to poor Joel, he looked like he was going to pushing Colyer out sometime in the next month, he was fantastic up until the injury

I think he was being held close to goal first half to save his legs, when they unleashed him up the ground he was superb. We should see bit by bit more quarters / halves like that, once he can run AFL km’s per game, they’ll debut him. He’s got every attribute you’d want in an afl forward.

Was thinking this myself today seeing Taberner dominate it has taken literally 10 years of development to get to this point well done to all involved on the perseverance and hard work alot more patient than myself so Treacy and Amiss have a long runway ahead of them.
Lobb doing his role well atm I might add.

A lot of us have been talking up Tabs and his importance for the past 5 years. He has averaged close to 6 marks a game since 2017. We have to take into account the performance of our team during this period too. So while he has not kicked many goals, he has not had the supply of Richmond, Geelong or West Coast.

With Lobbe and Tabs up forward and Darcy in the team, he is going to find a lot more space. Delivery is important too. Taberner needs to move in to space to jump at the ball or use his pace. In a pack he will not win many of those balls.
Anyway, just saying, it is no change in work into Taberner, it is an improved side with the same player. I will say his goal kicking accuracy was surprising, but that will not happen again. Expect 3.2 to 4.3 as the regular, which you would take from most key forwards.

I'm keen to go watch this game. WP usually are strong which will provide a good hit out for the Freo players.

I got AFL vibes from watching Shai Bolton in 1 state 18s game. Sometimes you can just tell. But like everything, some are good at it, some aren't. There are a lot that aren't on here, Tundra knows that, he's been around long enough so it's weird he's waited until now and on NOD to get fired up.

And, let's be very clear, NOD hasn't made it yet. He's played 1 reasonable game. This time last year Treacy was doing the same and there have been plenty of players throughout the AFL that impress early in their careers and can't/don't go on with it. Tim Ruffles anyone...
I saw shai go for a mark and missed the ball by about 5 metres. I thought he was useless. I was super wrong there

Wrist injury I heard for Thorne. Bell has an injury too. Both were named in the WA state squad to play SA.

Is that why Keitel and Pegoraro are out for West Perth?

I know we’re a fair way away from using top-ups but would’ve thought these two would be two of the first picked if we did (especially now Schlenslog is injured).

I was only mentioning that Bell and Thorne had been picked in the state sqaud as an aside, that they had been named. Its still about 3 weeks away - May 15th, but I heard Townsend this morning mentioning that those two players are injured. Bell some kind of leg injury.

Someone else mentioned previously in the thread that WP like Peel (Freo) had some covid issues.

Finally got to watch the replay before our game today (took same time until the replay was available). And I have to agree. He looked a lot better then his stats suggested.

Can anyone help me out?
I have Kayo and I'm a telstra customer. I'd like to watch the Peel v Falcons game and apparently you can watch it on kayo.

I can't find the wafl games listed on kayo. How do I watch the live stream from my TV?

Thanks in advance

They aren't on Kayo, but you can watch WAFL games for free on the AFL website now.

You could probably mirror the stream on your tv from a PC. Last week I just watched it on my tablet.

If you want to mirror from an iPad to the tv instead of using the AFL app, use a web browser on
the iPad + then you can throw it to the TV.

You will have to leave the iPad on while watching.
