Competitions Get On Board! 2023 Hawthorn board Supercoach Leagues

Well done to all that joined up to the leagues. Looks like there should be a really strong showing if last years results are anything to go by!
40 spots filled is a great effort and only a handful not returning this year.

Now that I have stepped out of League 2, can I ask for 1 or 2 people in that league to keep an eye on what is going on and keep the board updated .

Good Morning All,

THought i would piggy back on this SC thread.

Footys back and to keep yourself pre occupied during those down weeks while our Mighty Hawks develop why not join my superb keeper league for Supercoach. I still have a few spots in my keeper league and this league will be running for the long haul. As SC keepers are private it can be tricky to fill if you have no friends like myself so jump in if you want a different SC experience. Here is my post from another board...

Draft Friday 24th 10.15PM

Keeper League For Life.

Join if you are ready for the long haul. The ups and downs, developing your team and players.

Pretty standard format, 4-5-1-4/5 - 19 players. Max keep of 17 means you must make the hard decisions and cut 2 players every year at a minimum.

18 teams.

No rolling lockout, emergencies are active.

Draft Day is the 24th of Feb starting at 10.15p.m. Why so early? You need to bite the bullet and go with your instincts, late injuries are part of the game.

If you have no life and dont plan on getting one then this is the league for you.

Serious competition this year with some great individual results.

Keep an eye on the teams boards thread to see where we came on the bigfooty boards overall.

If someone from Hawks #2 can post the total points of each team and the winner there it would be appreciated.

I will update the spreadsheet and share here when completed. Thanks to all.

That's good, because I'm over 30 now. Classic country footy, 'no pre-season before Xmas' for the old guys.

to wrap up the year I have updated the list across the 2 leagues and what is clear is that Div 2 was a very strong league with a number of teams doing very well. Its clear that Hawks fans are a strong group of coaches, as we would expect anything less!
Next years leagues will be offered on a 2023 points finish basis and we will be going back to 18 team leagues. I expect/hope both 1 &2 to be inside the top 100 next year.

We might see if we can get a third league happening as we may have some extra coaches, but this can be dealt with in Jan/Feb.
