Poor *don. Timmy on Essendon saying it’s unfair they are without parish and redman. No mention of our injuries.
Different story of course now with Richmond, Collingwood and Essendon with their injuries when up against Carlton.
We hardly received any sympathy last season with our long injury list ... and similar this season.

Let's go Blues - 'No excuses footy'

I always see a sub as being a mid-sized Player who can inject pace into a game and tear it up in the 3rd or 4th when the team is tiring and could do with a boost. Someone quicker than a Hewitt or Kennedy
Kennedy should be a starting 22 - every day of the week.

That said, he has had much success coming on as a sub late in a game ie Q4.

"Quicker" what does that even mean?

Someone with a good footy brain/quick decision maker is quicker than a fast runner, with few clues, every day of the week.

They should have a point of difference. Kennedy had one game as sub where he had 10-11 disposals and a goal. That's impact in a qtr of gametime.

When Cerra returns, I could see Kennedy being one player rotated as a sub...with Carroll back to the reserves.

Was poor but will survive because he did a good job with structure when he was the third tall, keeping alir away from Curnow and McKay.

Saved by no competition for third tall, not by his poor game when in the midfield
I'm not even sure he did well with that, he was too easily outmarked several times when targeted. I didn't think he competed very well, or at least not up to his usual effort.

I want their supporters leaving at half time
At the Suns game on the weekend they were leaving after being ~15 points down at the 17min mark of the 4th qtr.

Note that after this point Essendon squared the game up. I couldn't believe they were leaving that early in a game that was a long way from being decided.

Based on that, if they're down by 20 at half time there's every chance they'll make a move for the early train...

wouldn’t be surprised if it’s mots that gets picked for this one. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the match committee pull the trigger lol, even though I feel he still needs at least another game in the twos.
Having said that, I thought he did start playing a little better in that last quarter last week when he played more on ball. Seemed as tho he worked into the game

That would be problematic for me, as i'm going with a couple and need a lift home (1.5hrs away).
Although i love your sentiment.

I'd much prefer for them to have to sit there all evening with me giving it to them.

Only 8 touches for the game with no goals so it must've been a very short spark of form.

Hope they inject him straight into centre bounce when he comes on.

Give a totally different look to the setup for one or two bounces.

When you say "they inject him" are you anticipating it to be off site? administered by Dank? Will we have records of it?

I want their entire team sitting or laying on the oval sobbing uncontrollably from their shameful loss.

Yeah I agree. Didn’t do enough in my eyes either. But u know what our match selection is like sometimes.

But who knows, if they do pick him he could do what he did when he played last minute against port last year?

Logically u would think durds comes in

Kennedy lucky to survive. Was really poor last week. On notice until Cerra is back.
I have always considered Bam Bam best 22. When he is playing well he is very good.
Tough, a good kick and decision maker and a strong mark.

Yes last week quiet but every chance to bounce back this week.

The good thing is it is getting increasingly harder to hold your place and as has been said by many,
when Cez, Cotts and Martin all fit it will be very tough at selection. (all auto selections IMO)

(not to Mention Motts, Marchy and Pitto. Probably not auto picks)

GREAT. Thats how it has to be if you are a contender. :thumbsu:
