My heart sank when Lalor went down. Was the shining light there but had to be ruined with another flipping injury. FFS. He had 6 shots on goal (including Mansell taking one) and would have had 3 goals. Best tackle of the day too. Just a very rounded player already. Pretty good return since he was only resting forward, played a lot of time on the nut. Maybe 50/50 mid fwd.

I know we took Lalor feeling that he was a good player with potential to be great, but if he's already this good..... shit, he could blossom into something really special. Going to be fun watching him play for another 15+ years

We were already top heavy when the game started and then we lost HRS which probably explained why he got moved around a bit.

Not sure what the hype about Ryan is. He so uncompetitive at ruck contests and offers very little around the ground.
Sonsie has gone backwards after his first season and Dow is bog average.

Concerning how glaring the foot speed problem is. And the fact we drafted 8 blokes, and the only quick one is coming off an ACL

Yze doesn’t like leg speed. Makes things more unpredictable

I think people get that, but we certainly hoped to see something a little more encouraging. We looked really slow, like, alarmingly so.
