To be fair we only had 2 min to choose between Sammy Mitchell and the team with more AFL premierships than anyone vs Crazy Vossy and the team that got done for cheating the salary cap while rocking the second longest premiership drought in the comp with more AFL spoons than Fitzroy
.

Tough choice that.
Any reasonable analysis would ID that Cripps is aging, increasingly injury prone and slowing. Without him Carlton are very average (and a bit soft). The Bullies reserves team thought so.

WC obviously loves the challenge of finding a diamond in the rough

No need to trade away a top 5 pick for Pick 18 when you already have it

I believe your club not only looked at lists but also draw difficulty to make this decision. Carlton play North and your team twice by round 15 plus Richmond in round 1. Most analysts would have Carlton banking 5 wins from those games before the season.

I don't think the fixture was out when WC made the call

Mate trade period is in October and the fixture is released in November.

They'll jump off quicker than they did in 2016.
You mean when we broke our club record for membership for 5 consecutive seasons from 2016 onwards?

I think he was talking about the human fans mate.

Breaking your own membership records when you're a team that has to sell home games interstate to stay financially viable isn't as impressive as you think champ.

Admittedly its early doors but the left field slightly wacky genius of the WC trading team is clear for all and sundry to witness. Allow me to revel in it for a quick sec and list the wins thus far.

Hawks look set to hand over picks inside the top 40 :moustache:

Liam Baker and Jack Graham would be leading the BnF at this stage due to CRACKING IN and training really hard.

Perhaps Kamdyn Mcintosh and Dion Prestia would like to join their former brethren in royal blue and gold?

Wonder if we can prise away another Matt Owies type, whats Jake Melkshams contract status i wonder.

Matt Clarke and co we leave things in your capable hands!

Anyone losing their shit over the hawks beating 2 shit teams and another average one went far too soon. Carlton have been ruined by injury and hawks having a blessed run.

Hawks aren’t the contender they’ve been made to look. They’re at best a bottom of the 8 side.
Seriously?
I'd hardly call Sydney at home a shit side.
Hawks top 4 for me easily.

The Blues have a few out but not too many A graders.

Sydney have not been good so far this year, theyre down in that bottom of the top 8 area at best, probably a tough worse than that until they get Gulden and Mills back in
