Yeah I know, was just a comment about how everyone knows everything apparently.

I'm actually quite positive about 12 months time where we will be.

There are definitely signs of improvement and when Mini can draft more guys to his liking then the wins will come.

In the mean time I only hope we are competitive and stay relatively injury free and these kids grab their chance

Melbourne were ferocious the other day, but I suspect it's an act. I think they will go back to dishing up pus, which might deliver us a win and seal Goodwin's fate.

Would love Riv. Not sure why Goodwin’s not giving him more of a look in the middle, put together a seriously good run of form in the back half of last year when he got the opportunities. Pickett I wouldn’t say no to (especially after that game Saturday), but sounds like it’s Fremantle for him in 2026 - might explain the great performance

After our 2018 flag, our team just wasn't interested in doing the hard yards. Lot's of, "I'm carry an injury, I can't do the pre-season load", and "trust me, bro". Simmo, being the "inclusive" type, fell for it. We had a side that should have competed for the flag, but Simmo just couldn't stop the rot.

I see similar things at Melbourne. You should dump Goody now, pick up Bevo or Hinkley, and give it a red hot go. If it doesn't work, start off loading players. Cash the chips in.

Agree. I felt we got close in 2023. That was the Brayshaw game where he got concussed. We lost by 7 points. Collingwood beat GWS by 1 and Brisbane by 4. We had so much I50. Melksham, yes Melksham, injured his knee that year but was absolutely killing it. We really missed him.

I’d be keen on Hinkley. The guy can coach.
