Can't wait for another day of Shedeur watch tomorrow, hope he lasts til the 3rd round so they can drag it out even more.

No way he lasts until the 3rd round. I wouldn't be surprised if he is first of the board to Cleveland.

Questioning Roseman is silly given his record. He's earning the right for us to assume he knows exactly what he's doing.
One day its going to blow up on them. but given all the times its worked for them, nobody should care.

Makes sense with Dean's future uncertain,
Yes the injuries and limited pool of cheap free agent vets available at the position mean it is actually a great choice I reckon. Hopefully Dean recovers and is back to his best, but if not we need depth beyond Jaylx and Trots Jr.

Also they can give him most of next year to recover physically and get used to the NFL and Fangio's scheme, then he is a starter option in Y2 and Y3 of his rookie contract.

We've spent so much on the contracts for the offense that great rookie selections for the D become vital, another reason which getting Q and Coop last year was such a key to the medium term.

But if you are paying so little to move up 1 spot, feels like no others are calling KC. Sure they got their guy and i guess a late 5th wasnt going to end up a big time player. but wonder what offers they had for Chargers and Packers to take him.

Maybe I've just been shafted once too often in Madden. I'd have forced my way up much earlier - "man **** them picks!"

One of the great Seinfeld clips of all time.

Was played for me by one of my executive managers as a performance appraisal a few years ago.

Some of his high profile free agent signings have been questionable (Huff, Bradberry, Hassan Ridgeway) but his draft trades and mid to late round selections are difficult to go at too hard. He learned a lot from selecting the likes of Agggggggalhor and Reagor.

Quite good coverage today and I think this will be a really good draft class.

Not 100% sold on Ward after watching a few of his games last year.

Feels like Campbell would of still been there next.

Giving up a late 5 to move up 1 spot isnt bad.

People always forget that the pick holder can trade to other teams too

Me neither, but sometimes these zero star recruits do better than the 5 stars.

As they haven't been told their whole career that they are a superstar.

If the Titans took Carter I would have been happier but sitting through another season of Levis would have been torture.....

Don't forget that he wanted to trade a haul for Russell Wilson but was saved by Russ vetoing the trade ;)

Howie's a good drafter, but he's also had to get very lucky to get the reputation he has now

Man, haven't you seen the tinder ratings profile for the average "popular dudes" in the pub?
Almost all reputations and ratings are luck based to some extent, sooner or later every "5 star rated dude legend" gets caught in his true self with the 3 am loud fart in bed ruining his reputation...

Compared to the Eagles GMs that came before him, Howie will always have street cred, one of the few to ever get demoted out of the GM spot at a team (by Chip Kelly) and then rebound back better and harder. Also delivered us our first ever modern era Superbowl, and then a won us a second one with a completely remade roster and new coaching staff in under 8 years.

AND THEN HE TOOK A BEERCAN TO THE HEAD!! A FULL LARGE SIZE BEERCAN TOO!!
