"Worst side in AFL history" gets the hardest draw in the first 7 weeks and all of those Victorian flogs get out of it is that GC have an easy one.View attachment 2298709
Yup it’s a disgrace tuggs and we have highlighted this on this forum for weeks

Where is the blowback from the wa media .. nothing nada f$$k all rather just take pots at the side every week

Caught up with a bit of Simmo radio this morning, couple points:
-liked his little swipe at Kane regarding his opinion on JHF, saying giving away frees and showing emotions is ok only for his favourites (see Reid)
-Funny that he agrees with Kane on the GWS travel factor. King was going hard that GWS playing in Canberra isn't a travel game. Yet the 2 guys who have had a tonne of experience from outside of Vic are telling King his is wrong and it's a huge factor
-also disagrees with King, who called the club disgraceful for the Allen treatment and playing him back. Goes on to say, we have no real KPD ATM and it may be a good way to get Allen some form. Says he would have also looked at it

Cool little watch from [PLAYERCARD]Jeff White[/PLAYERCARD]. Really enjoying his analysis of games/teams

Shows the effort is definitely there (and Ryan baggers can back off).

Few small adjustments, better decisions and skill execution turns Hawks goals into our goals and the games is alot closer

Feel it's not as far away as it seems for it to click

So it's official, we got the worst draw...Freo the 2nd easiest. Curious to see North down there...and Collingwood/Richmond not too far away. Premiers get 4th easiest draw.

I’ve always found Manuka at night to be one of the Giants worse road trips. They are prone to dropping those. Trust them more in the day/twilight fixture there. Only sides that haven’t been to Manuka in a long while are Tigers (2016, pre-flags), Swans (2011, obvious reasons) Eagles (2006, 4 including 1995 game at Bruce), Pies (2001), Blues & Bombers (never)

David King played at Manuka 11 times, had a winning record there

Actually I mentioned this about a week ago.
It was brought up on 6PR about the Eagles draw and how it was pretty difficult.
The comeback was "Well the draw comes out in October so they have had plenty of time to get prepared"
Yep, that was pretty much word for word the response to having the hardest draw after finishing bottom 3.
MORONS I tell ya.

Tributes are flowing for inaugural West Coast Eagle player, Sean King, who has sadly died after a short illness.

The 60 year old had been battling cancer, and on Wednesday he lost that battle.

The tragic loss happened just days after West Perth honoured King with life membership.

Am i the only one that has no issue with Sam Bitchell moving TB forward. Feel like Mini is a tad sensitive.

I have no issue with it.

TB is a great contested mark but not a natural forward. Why not throw him forward in a game you are going to win anyway to see what he can do? They do it with Sicily all the time because he's a mid sized player that creates a match up headache.

How would extra time to get prepared account for the massive gulf in experience and/or talent? Dipshits.

I agree with "if you don't like it, be better so teams can't do it" sentiment and frankly I think that's what McQualters going for with the players

But I don't for one second think Mitchell didn't do it in that game in particular because Barrass is ex-WC. They do it with Sicily because he's actually a good fwd.

It's not a huge deal, the media always go over the top with these things, but it is a "remember that one boys" type of thing. Which is good...anything that might spark a few

Totally, I'm not going to spend time pissed off about it - but I think we can acknowledge it was a bit of a dick move. My main takeaway is that it's used to galvanise the group at the very least.

I think this example shows the lack of knowledge of the Eagles by many ‘wise men from the east’.

They speak about it with no acknowledgement that we’re stacked for forwards and bereft of backs.

It’s either incomplete analysis or … ignorance.

Same as when Kane led the charge about Ginbey in the ruck. He didn’t know or acknowledge Ruck#1 and Ruck#2 were out of action. Probably saw some vision and then just loaded up for his trademark cheap shot.

And these experts can mostly get away with it because the other experts are equally ignorant of the Eagles.

It wouldn’t happen if it was say Collingwood, but rather there’d be discussion about how two ruckmen were cramping because of a poorly scheduled game. (Oh but then when do they have poor fixturing … silly me!)
