Well, 1 actual small forward. The others mids turned small fwd and even defender turned small fwd.

An actual small forward would be nice for a change

I really hope we do pick him, but looks like the Dons will swoop.

They've done really well from the MSD in recent times, picking up Saad, D'Ambrosio and now likely a very serviceable forward.

Cause he did a pre season with us, and was thoroughly unimpressive. To have been not picked over Frankie Evans says more about McMahon than anything imo

Or it says we really weren't confident in our small forward stocks and saw that as a bigger issue.. and rightfully so as they've all been straight up below average again.

That being said, I would have taken McMahon over Evans as the SPP and MSD should be used for upside rather than bringing in delisted journeymen that don't move the needle.

And also we had the E Hollands situation develop which may have meant they were caught off guard needing a replacement at short notice

Did I say he'd move the needle?
But he most surely has more upside than Evans. Talls take longer to develop- known fact. If you don't see that.. then I don't know what to say.
