I honestly actually thought we would never get back to this level of shitness again after we won our flags , I thought there might be a hiccup as in drop down ladder a bit but not bad .
Umpirewood win flag in 18 , make prelim 19 , prelim 20 , shit year 21 , win flag 22 and probably win another in 25. Diff is imo better coach and there older players still playing well and better recruiting .

its interesting the coaching argument,bc its the most important imprint on a footy club i rkn as its their DNA thats drilled into the group,the game styles a reflection of the coach himself,our past 3 premiership coaches over the last 60 years have had either played in premierships or coached their own team to premierships (Hafey) before guiding the great tigers to flags,i know theres been outliers outside of the RFC, Roos,Clarkson(not sure if he coached an SANFL flag ?) and of course Fagan lately come to mind so maybe,i dont know,but maybe RFC has an issue/history respecting or believing in or supporting coaches fully long term that dont have that premiership DNA ?

i mean i know we've stunk it up in the past with plenty of coaches that did have that premiership DNA,even some of our own,Patterson for eg but its obvious to me that RFC thrives best when a real fair dinkum hardarse no Fuqs given

We're a very badly run club at the moment. I never thought we'd fall like this again but here we are.

How many have been taken in the national draft / PSD?

And how many have been taken after showing excellent form in the MSD?

Because if they’re taken in the MSD, then it means all 18 x clubs overlooked them prior to the season starting.

Then if they’re taken in the MSD, then we can only make selections in draft order.

The Richmond VFL team is not a NGA or have any sort of father-son priority, so review each pick on its merits before any melts.

Phatty is a completely unhinged Cats supporter. Has spent 5-years, ten thousand comments and a gazillion hours in Richmond and Dustin Martin threads arguing how Richmond and Dustin Martin didn’t adversely affect his state of mind.

He even popped into the Lynch suspension thread for a comment or two …. but no, Lynch’s 5-goal PF masterclass in 2019 isn’t something he thinks about either.

Although it’s understandable … dominate us from 1983-2016 … fall to us in each of our three flag seasons, twice from almost impenetrable positions…. then start dominating us again from 2021.

It’s hilarious really.
