3 votes Dunkley - superb all-around game (13 tackles!)
2 votes Wilmot - was absolutely everywhere... 31 disposals and 14 marks both surely career highs
1 vote Neale - excellent ball use as always... also nice to have 8 tackles

Rayner, W Ashcroft, Fletcher, Berry and others up there too

Fages has the blueprint to show the forwards now. This is the pressure you need to apply and you’ll get your rewards that come with it.

Such a shame about Noah and it could potentially be a bigger loss than maybe we think right now. Does open up an opportunity now for a few guys back there so the ressies game will be interesting.

Dunkley winning the Robert Walls medal just makes sense. Throw him into the ruck.

Shattered for Answerth. He's been so good for us and will leave a huge hole in our backline. Payne and now Answerth out means or backline is looking thin.

Dunkley, Neale, Berry, Wilmot and Rayner for my 5 best. The onballers destroyed Carlton out of the middle. Wilmot didn't put a foot wrong all night. Rayner seems to get stronger each week and bulldoze more defenders.

Thought Hugh was the most influential in the first 3 quarters

A very good team effort by the midfielders in spite of the rucks
Hugh has become our best and most influential player. Absolutely superb.

Dunkley far and away BOG, went head to head with Cripps and beat him convincingly. 28 touches with 13 tackles shows how good he is as a two way mid. He doesn’t always have to be defensive but for some reason people think he didn’t play well if the oppositions best mid also gets some of the ball

Yeah these sorts of injuries can add up. If we keep running Andrews and Lester as our KPDs, it makes sense to bring in Doedee.

Good point on Wilmot. His decision making with the ball is excellent - he only bombs long when the short options are dangerous.
