O'Brien is a worse player. I'm not even convinced he's an upgrade on Fort honestly. Draper is, though he'll be getting overpaid if we sign him.

After looking at the stats and the reported contract figures, I think the best choice between O’Brien and Draper is neither of them. We're better off seeing what we have in Henry Smith and getting one last year out of Fort. At the end of 2026 we can then decide whether to stick with Smith or hit the ruck carousel, which looks better then compared to this year.

Sure, I'm not saying he's terrible, he helps out defensively. But perhaps my view of a top ruck is someone who helps out more in the contest and through the midfield than O'Brien does. That isn't his strength.

I am not an antivaxer, I have a flu shot every year but I will never take another Covid shot again that’s for sure.

I've had the Flu shot 2 times, (one of those 2 was because it was compulsory to gain admission to see my dying Aunt in a dementia ward) in the last 20 or so years, never had the flu.

I had 2 AZ Covid vax shots, got Covid once about a month after the 2nd shot, I have not and will not be getting any boosters.

IMO there is huge difference between the pejorative slur antivaxer which infers if you are against only Covid vaccines you are anti all vaccines, my children and grandchildren have had all the recommended vaccines.

I'm not big on the relevance of hit out stats but the 3 bombers rucks got beaten in the hit outs by a combined 48-6.

For context, those 7 clearances were a team high, and the next best was 3. Essendon got destroyed in the middle by Box Hill all day.

I'm not big on the relevance of hit out stats but the 3 bombers rucks got beaten in the hit outs by a combined 48-6.

Yeah, that'll happen when three 19 year olds are sent to ruck against a 26 year old Ned Reeves, and Max Ramsden who I rate as one of the best emerging ruck/forwards in the AFL. I'd take either of them over Monteath, but neither are out of contract until 2026, whereas Monteath can be drafted this year.
