Ok lets look realistically for a kid in his third year.

A snap shot of his stats he turned it over on a pretty consistent basis however he's had it more times than practically everyone in the league.

This is despite multiple role changes. Where we have seen him pushed into the backline, or on the wing, some times that has been to cover holes, and some times it has been to help/instruct/bail out players more senior to him.

He captained the club for a game.

I am also aware he had a bit of upheaval off field coming into the year.

So in all that we still get performances where he shoots the f***ing lights out.

Mentally where have you placed the bar for this kid? that he has to be everything always?

He is likely to podium in our BnF again.

Realistic is that if Duursma played this sort of year next year there would be people beating themselves raw over it.

If this was as down of a year as some have made out strap the f*** in because we are going to the moon.

The team stats is what made me turn mid year. I just couldn’t agree with people based on our team defensive, transition, turnovers and score origins. Cooked me but compelling
