Enough time's past...they REALLY didn't film the Harley announcement to the players? After all the horse shit we had to sit through watching those blokes 'play' on the field this year and they couldn't even do the one thing that would raise moral among the fan base?

Yeah I am disappointed, but obviously would have been a media teams wet dream.

So at least it could be good that leaks aren’t happening, even within the club.

Even if they did film it, it was probably full of expletives and unreleasable.

Plus, releasing something like that opens the club and Harley up to criticisms about him being this big rockstar that is more important than the rest of his teammates.

I’m glad it hasn’t been released. Happy to know that it happened and everyone at the club got a cool moment to share, we don’t have to be apart of that.

Their original offer was four picks in the teens. And the Victorian media was all "The Eagles were mad to turn down that offer".

My proudest moment was bribing a member of the North Melbourne side of BigFooty to donate $20 to an animal charity of their choice to get rid of me poking holes at their Reid transfer talk on their board.
Thankfully their mod is far more reasonable than those of another board I've recently forayed on.

Still pretty sure the AFL gave them 2+3 with the purpose of trading for 1 (Harley), but North didn't play ball - they fell for the "they won't draft him" vic media.

So the Vic media "Harley has to play in Victoria" narrative backfired, and they are potentially the reason he isn't there.

That's not true, a deal was all but done between Eagles, North and Demons and going into the draft day the two Vic clubs were under the impression it was happening, Eagles had a meeting the night before and made the decision to draft Reid leaving the Vic clubs surprised.
