He’d be better than Worpel, just never got a chance.
Maybe he couldve been in the right situation like with Keays but I think his chance has passed him

Cheers for that. Foot skills so important these days.Stacked midfield + decision making and foot disposals aren't that great.
Don't like to slag off my own players, but agree totally regarding Worpel. He’d be better than Worpel, just never got a chance.

You assume he done a lot of work on his foot skills since drafted. Not everyone clicks.Dev should sue his junior coaches.
Had never thought of that, I should sue every one of my junior soccer coaches, I could of been playing at Stamford Bridge every 2nd week instead of running around in the Futsal lower leagues in Brisbane for 2 decades.Dev should sue his junior coaches.
...and reimburse the Lions coaches for attempting an impossible job.Dev should sue his junior coaches.
Even at a club where we bath injured players in the Brisbane River and they recover 100% it seems from media
I can't recall ever seeing him play/highlights, I googled him with Rookie me Central and the only thing that showed up was a 3 year old article, has he been injured?
Looks nice in that short package, interceptor, strong mark and 1 v 1, maybe kicks a bit loopy.
i don’t agree. He needs another club in the lower half of the ladder to give him a go. He’s never going to a superstar, but could still get a few more years out of his career.Maybe he couldve been in the right situation like with Keays but I think his chance has passed him
Agree. I think Dev would be a walk up start in half the teams out there.i don’t agree. He needs another club in the lower half of the ladder to give him a go. He’s never going to a superstar, but could still get a few more years out of his career.
Just out of curiosity, what has happened with Devon Robertson?
Is it more that your stacked with midfielder or has he just stalled in his progress?

Solid looking boy too, do we know his height and weight?

Dev to Carlton for their future 2nd round. He would suit Vossy tough love, bash and crash expectation on the field. Nobody else there can do it.Carlton could do worse; I mean if they are seriously considering Petreculle (sp?).....
The only reason any club will need to trade for Dev is if there's 2 clubs willing to give him a shot, or they have free picks they're not going to use at the backend of the draft and they just want to get the deal done.Dev to Carlton for their future 2nd round. I think most everyone here wishes Dev well and would be glad to see him succeed at another club. Yes he has his issues but his effort has never been in question, he always gives 100%.Don't like to slag off my own players, but agree totally regarding Worpel.
Dev's disposal isn't up to standard but you'd have to think with opportunity in the right environment he could develop a game where he'd be of use to some teams. Because he has some excellent qualities. Someone his size who has a disposal deficiency needs to have something else special though to earn a spot in a top team.I think most everyone here wishes Dev well and would be glad to see him succeed at another club. I have no doubt that if a team gave him a good go at it he would come good, similar to Ben Keays. We just can’t really afford to give him that leeway when we have so many ready made mids that are better than him already waiting in the wings.
So ridiculous... and funny in a WTF way.Listed as 192cm on Rookie Me Central (I assume from early in the year testing).
You can't ask about weight any more !!!![]()

He was well within his right to stay and fight for his spot considering he played 16 games in 2023 which included the last 4 H&A games, 3 finals, and 13 disposals and a goal in the GF (with a broken wrist… and no tackles, compared to 20 across his previous 5 games). Plus he was the most talked about fringe player after his shirts off moment!Dev's disposal isn't up to standard but you'd have to think with opportunity in the right environment he could develop a game where he'd be of use to some teams. He's not in the class of Ben imo and maybe stayed a year or two too long but I'd say he'll get picked up by somebody.
