I was watching a highlights package of Isak’s prem goals. Gee he’s a true marksman with one of the best conversion rates amongst strikers/forwards. I couldn’t help but picture Nunez in the same goal scoring situations and seeing him sky the ball or hit the cross bar.

So good we're living through the days of being able to make fun of Man Utd's misfortunes. They were a bastard of a team to play against for years under SAF and even though it felt like forever, I couldn't wait until he retired, haha

I'd expect a fee of 15m gets it done in January however I am sure they'll hold on to him until the last minute of the winter window.

The comms from the club was getting Guehi in this window was a luxury and not a requirement. I’d say we are content with the current roster but still getting our man at a discounted or free price. He seems like a natural succession plan for post Virg. No rush.

Didn't the Palace manager torpedo the whole thing by threatening to resign if they let Guehi go? Palace blinked. It had nothing to do with the deal.

Yep. There will be some competition for his signature in Jan, however most won't be offering a big fee considering 6 months left on the contract.

Ideally it is the sort of deal that can be agreed before the window opens, ie 15m + 15% sell on clause. Unveil on Jan 1, like we did with Virgil.
