Was paying $1.01. Weakest afl administration in history.

We all accept it was soft but if I'm Chris Scott I'm asking O'Connor why do something so needless when the ball is 100m away and Stengle is about to have a shot at extending the lead to 33 points.

They suffocated us with their pressure and tackling and our tackling was ineffective. Still think this group can bounce back, it's all in the head.

I remember the first pressure rating displayed about 5–10 minutes in, and we were already well off the Cats.

Normally we at least break even in that area, but we just weren’t up for it last night. Maybe the break after six tough weeks of footy left us a bit flat - it happens.

The important thing is we can regroup quickly, take the feedback, and go again.

Our pressure rating for the first quarter was better than theirs

Across the quarter it evened out, I was referring to that first display - we were down 201–147.

It just showed that our mids were off the pace in the opening 5–10 minutes, which really isn’t us.

He looked way off it last night and sadly, he might be at that part of his career where he becomes late career Fyfe. I wonder whether we might look back at this as the passing of the baton moment.

No. He just needs a rest and a gradual build pre season. He's carried a lot of injuries the last couple of years. Just get him right and don't play him until he is.

Seven News tonight mentioned Ty Gallop room broken into while playing at the MCG
Hotel staff apparently let an imposter into his room after producing ID as a Lion's player.
Cash stolen but that's all they mentioned.

Thats good that everyone does not have to hope he will play again this year.

Also, he can start rehab straight away with no timeframe to try and return to playing.

He should be good to go next year as long as nothing pops up again. Turns 33 next May.

We beat Dockers and Hawks without him and lost by 2 points to Swans in the other game.

…but shit for Lachie. He’s running out of chances at another flag.

I hope we get the chance to give him a break next season, but he’s such a competitor he’ll never want it.

We were sitting on the fence right on the wing (could smell the deep heat whenever a Geelong player got a massage).
Got a perfect view of the ball exiting out of the centre in Geelong advantage time and time again.

Also got a close up view if Dunks executing a couple of awesome spoils. 😍
Dunka has been huge all year, I genuinely don't think he's had a bad game all year. Might be a smokey for b&f over Clug.

Concerns me Lach and Hippy obviously extremely hindered with injury stay on field causing additional damage.

Have to agree Lazza.

In our quest to go back to back we've probably knocked a few guys around.

Of course it's easy to say after the ball . When you need to win a game of footy you usually do whatever it takes.

But maybe this year it's backfired a little bit.

I think both situations we had little chance of victory so is the tail wagging the dog?

I think there is few more players carrying injuries than we know, and we made "clangers" under no pressure.
The good thing is we have the players to make the difference, and they are young.
We would be one the best clubs to enter 26.
