Nah, take it from me as a neutral (a non supporter of Eagles/Dockers), even though the Eagles had a bad year this year and the past few years, they are still Number 1 in my opinion in WA.

The reason is simple: until the Dockers finally win a Premiership and break the hold the Eagles have on WA, they will go nowhere as a club. All they need is that one Premiership and they will be on their way because in a two team town with one team winning Premierships and the other one not winning one....they'll always be number 2.

Nothing will change for the Dockers in terms of the "pub test" or "the optics" until they win that first Premiership.

What is clear?

He either didn't have full possession of the ball and it was knocked completely free on impact or he did and he didn't have any prior opportunity to dispose of the ball before being tackled?...

And then he was brought to ground, without the ball...

Tackle followed through well after the ball had gone (holding themnan without the ball) - a couple like this paid in most games. probably bad luck or lack or awareness, but still a clear free kick. An in this case a joy to watch.

My guess is Schofield is mostly disingenuous and just does things these days for exposure and his pod.

I also think he’ll jump back on the Eagles like a 4 year old when we are good again. Despite being a premiership player he is too scattered & all over the place + mostly concerned about himself and dollars to support any side in a proper way. It’s all good - I’m happy with my staunch and unwavering support of the club and know we will be back, especially with the young group building along nicely now

I think he also left West Coast under less-than-ideal terms and still carries a chip on the shoulder about that.
