Should have been signed on well before this. We go early on all the wrong players with zero upside, and drag our feet on the only one who has some features that could make him elite.

It's a funny take by that poster, labelling a free speech platform fascist because they have views that we don't like (can certainly be repulsive) using phones and laptops that are likely manufactured through slave labour in a country with a regime that is actually closer to fascist regime than anything an Australian or American experiences.

Evoking "mah free speech" in the instance where the world's wealthiest man acquires a social media platform, changes the policies and algorithm in a fashion that actually curtails free speech, pushes his own agenda, and quashes dissent.

Twitter was influential in the re-election of Trump, and personally I would have thought dispatching the National Guard in Los Angeles simply to intimidate Democrat states should be ringing the fashy alarm bells pretty loud and clear. But that might just be me.

yeah this, all we had to do was back in the attributes and have faith and he’d be signed.

His primary problem was injury concerns, I don’t see how him playing the last 6 weeks does anything drastic to alleviate that concern.

A shame but can’t blame Campbell when it seems the club was ready to move on 2 months ago.

You do you, I just think it's funny that Australians and Americans cry out fascism like any of us have ever experienced it. If you think Musk is a fascist go for your life but I think it makes light of the holocaust and people like the Uyghurs in China.

Was delist fodder earlier in the year. If we can get something out of him trade wise it's probably a win. Yep showed a lot in the last 4 or 5 games of the season but is super injury prone. Shame to see him go but good luck to him hope he gets a good run at it over the next part of his career. I don't see Carlton as greener pastures though.

Is the upside of it all lining up for him health wise and him turning his pace into a genuine impact career worth that risk? Also yes.

We had f*cking Petrucelle and Owies on the list this year and Chesser still hadnt been given a deal? Absolutely ridiculous. Chesser has shown more than those 5 combined in the last 4 weeks.

With Carlton having a real need for points next year, do you think they’ll avoid dealing in futures? Assuming F/S isn’t locked out like there’s rumours of, they might have a top five pick on their hands?

Think even without the last month we should have been offering a 1 year deal, the ability was clearly there. Was more a matter of getting a clean run with injury, I don’t see how a month of footy makes a difference in that regard.

Particularly when we’re offering guys who have little/no hope of impacting in the future contracts.
