Has Hill played his last game for Collingwood?

I think he's only a depth player at the moment. If the Pies make it to the Granny, he's there if anyone gets injured in the Prelim, but I'd be surprised if we see him play again this year. But that won't stop the football media from playing endless reels of him training, though.

the real reason May has been told to look for a new home is the conflict between him & the captain, potentially other players also
That and a certain other assistant defensive coach allegedly heading Casey way.

I just don't understand that. A stadium has never made sense. Why are they investing their own money into something that doesn't happen if the economic advisor happens to actually do the maths on it?
Mate, when was the last time you were in Hobart?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Hobart effectively shuts down at 6pm.
The people of Hobart won't know themselves when the stadium is up and running.

There will be bars and restaurants everywhere. You can bet that some hotel group is already planning a build.
Ever been to a gig at the entertainment centre? My lord, that place must have been built in 1970.

And no joke, there's one food stand.

Because it sounds like there's a bit too things in regards to why he's only played 1 senior game since round 16
Apparently it's all family issues.
I saw some footage of how much condition he's lost. Hasn't put weight on, he's lost it.

Never been and i definitely understand the upside. Adelaide used to a pretty lively city in summer but would go to sleep over winter, then Adelaide oval came in and now it's actually alive in winter too.

But a billion dollars when Hobart could fit inside Salisbury. Any adult in the room has to say no

Gee thats rich. The government handed over $340 million for Kardinia park which hosts about 12 events a year.

Adults should have said no to that.
The stadium in Tassie is state changing.

Messy break up so I believe, anyway not a 'character' issue - the pies really rate him, but he just isn't match ready

It's 1.1 billion dollars. A Lamborghini would be life changing for me but I don't have the money
Yeah, the roof thing is ridiculous. The idea that roof would bring big acts is just rubbish - Sport doesn't need a roof and big acts aren't coming to Tassie at all. Look at Optus Stadium in Perth - has hosted only two significant non-sport events in its history - Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. I'm all for building a new stadium, but let's not roll it in gold.

I would never fly to Tassie to see an event without a roof.
Oh gee I wonder why big acts dont go to Tassie?

Taylor Swift current plays at venues that hold less than 23,000.
But like hell is she going to Tassie to play in front of 5,000 at the entertainment centre.

Tassie were just lucky that the Oils felt they owed it to Tassie to go and play there.

Bellerive is awful to get to as a visitor. Putting money into that is a waste of time, it won't attract people and the city won't get the benefit of pre and post game drinks and dinner. If a stadium is built at Mac Point, with or without a roof, any visitor and lots of locals will be spending money before and after the game. If the Tassie team gets up I'd be there for any Cats game. I love Hobart and I'd go down for 4 or 5 days not just FIFO as would a fair chunk of people I'd imagine.

Agreed. Place will be absolutely buzzing with big events. Only thing they are missing

The reason acts don't go to Tassie is that barely anyone lives there. Barely any acts go to Adelaide and 1.5m people live there and there's tonnes of venue options

If they built the MCG in Hobart and stuck a roof on it, she, and no other big act would play it. Tassie is way too small, nobody is going there... period. That's why she didn't do a regional tour of Vic and NSW. The stadium will only ever get used for sport, it only needs to be fit for sport.

Hey Beveridge, here's another defender looking for a new home

And as much as Melbourne are trying to say the right things here's, let's be honest that the real reason May has been told to look for a new home is the conflict between him & the captain, potentially other players also

But it's a bit harder to say that bit publically

Can see Carlton chasing him and good luck too

Wow. You guys. How bloody old are you?

I'll leave it to you. You just have no idea.
Ever been to an indoor gig where 50,000 people pay $200 dollars to see an international DJ? Thats $10 million for one night.

It happens every friggin year in Melbourne and Sydney.
No one, is going to Tassie without a roof. So you kind of got that right.

If the stadium isn't built, the Government and the AFL must walk. And Tassie will continue to be a ghost state.

Melbourne is more than 20 times the size of Greater Hobart. Keeping that ratio, what is 50,000 in Melbourne is 2,500 in Hobart, $500K rev, that's all - big acts would be making a loss on that. No act who is in the business of making money will ever give up playing Melbourne or Sydney to play Hobart, roof or no roof.

No, no, no.

My daughter has driven to Sydney twice to go to raves.
You just dont get it.

And nope, she's not into drugs. She's into 10 hours straight of dance music. Being delivered by the worlds best.

But thats just one segment of what a stadium would bring.
