It's the vibes, man...and they ain't good. The evil forces have taken over completely, whether it be in Gaza, Ukraine or Washington. We've lost Redford, there's a new John Farnham musical happening, Kane Cornes is winning media awards...the shite being thrown around from all directions seems to be endless.

...and now it's at the MCG against these...I can't even give them a name. Scum doesn't even come close. Kinda feels like a loss tonight will just wipe away the last nearly 20 years of Hoop wonder. Any reason to follow the game will be moot...might as well collect bus tickets or start listening jazz-fusion.

But a win tonight...it'll be a swim against the tide, a light in the darkness, a reason to keep living. Above all, the hope that all is not lost in the world.
